Roaring Fork Motor Nature Trail is another beautiful drive out of Gatlinburg. Turn up the road beside of the Space Needle up the side of Mtn LeConte. It had hikes off of it+you can hike to top of the mtn. You might see the animals that trek up supplies for the Lodge up there. They take the supplies at the beginning of the season by helicopter. Really enjoyed your video, as I always do. Thank you.
The Smoky Mountains are our Go to. We travel there about once per year. We haven't stayed where you are staying, but the one we stay at EVERY time is Honeysuckle Meadows in Wears Valley, just to your west about 5 miles. We love that place. Worth just driving out to take a look while y'all are there, if you still happen to be there
If you get a great clear day and want a driveable scenic view head up to clingmans dome and Newfound Gap. But its only worth it if a clear day. You have a million miles of great hikes right there. My favorite, well I have a few... but one of my favorites is Chimney Tops. Its just under 2 miles but it is a tough 2 miles ( I am 6'2 220 and 53 and made it fine), but its no joke. But the views are incredible. Oh and if they happen to have it blocked off bc of the fires a few years ago - just go around it. Everyone did when we were there last year. And while your there everyone has to do the ski lift in gatlinburg.
I wish I would have seen this in enough time. The Apple Barn is me and my husbands favorite. Not over crowded and we enjoy parking and walking Over to the creek and sitting and watching the ducks and geese
We did the Cave's Cove loop, first week of June. Saw 13 bears. We stayed at Little Arrow RV Resort on Little River. It's just outside of park entrance, in Townsend, and close to the Cove drive.
We love the Pigeon Forge/ Sevierville area. We stayed at the resort when it was Eagle’s Nest campground, no WiFi and no Verizon cell service. We have been going to Pigeon Forge for 10 years and normally stay at least 2 weeks or more a year. We now stay at Riverside RV park in Sevierville, it’s close to I-40. Old Mill restaurant is a great place to eat breakfast
Just found your channel and i SUBSCRIBED!!. We just bought a new Imagine, similar to yours. Also, we are Michigan natives now living in South Carolina and we LOVE the Smokies and Eastern Tennessee so much that we bought property there for retirement. We spent our honeymoon 32 years ago, tent camping in the National Park. If you would like to dry camp in the woods, try any of the camp grounds in the park. We really like Cades Cove and Elkmont campgrounds. Hiking, visiting town in the fall......EPIC!!
Hello glad you guys enjoyed Cades cove and we to live in western North Carolina and we also met you guys at the grand design rally in Myrtle Beach we were with the rice family from Asheville I like watching you videos as we are very new to rving so thank you guys
Creekside rv park is a good family owned campground .i have stayed there every year for about 20 years .Wears valley to henderson springs road second campground on the right
Enjoyed the views of Pigeon Forge. I am also in Tennessee and saw a trailer and truck combo that looked just like yours on I-40 going through Memphis last Monday! Hope you guys are well!
I have family in that area. Been going there for over 40 years. It's really built up. Sky Line Diner is a nice place to eat. Hope you guys had a good time there.
omg hey hey just found this channel ... there is good ole jim bo escorting y'all in ... my favorite place to stay!!! ... won't be long before im back also... hope your stay at the campground was nice also!!! sub to your channel also!
Nice adventure, and looks like a really nice area. That’s one area of the country I’ve not visited before. We appreciate the videos. Oh and you can tell a fawn by the short nose. 😁Happy Camping!
We stated there last August into September. It's a really nice park. The bath stalls are larger than our bathrooms at home.. we're staying at KOA this year which is our usual spot when we come to the Smokies. I'll send you an adventure via messenger you should consider for some time in the future.
@lifererouted We had planned on doing a drive through video and tour of the bathhouse and such but the day we planned it had gotten so packed you could barely drive through the park.. we waited till labor day weekend. Poor timing on our part so that video didn't get made. Look forward to exploring your library of videos.
Very cool, was just at cades cove about 2 months ago. The horseback ride tour on the cades cove loop and the nearby cave tour are both awesome. If you look at a cades cove map there is a old back road leading out of cades cove that was kind of hidden and had signs that it was unmaintained etc and was mostly gravel but was in good shape we got to see some bears and more wildlife leaving that way. Keep up the great videos!
We're often fortunate enough to see deer or turkey at our local "state bark", but every once in a while we'll see something far out like a little tortoise crossing the road.
We really enjoyed Cades Cove, saw several Deer , pointed them out and in true National Park style People headed off through the Poison Ivy in flip flops and shorts to see how close they could get, I kinda felt bad, but not really. Joy was really hoping to see a Bear too, apparently if we would have been 5 min earlier we would have seen one, but oh well. Im sure we will see some in Glacier this coming summer.
What speed do you typically drive with your camper on the Interstate? Just bought a 2600RB last month and taking it out for the first time this weekend. Thanks!
Cades Cove is the best. We saw so many bears when we did the loop. Just remember to eat in “designated areas only”. If you eat at a turnout you will get a visitor who will want ALL YOUR FOOD! I’m not kidding. The bears can smell stupid tourists for miles and miles! 🐻
Thanks so much! If you're who I'm thinking you are, Keith and Raini and Kyle and Renee have told us we need to stop by your place! We'd love to visit someday!
Oh good point! It's in eastern Tennessee, near Gatlinburg or Knoxville. A combination of everything you could do in a city and gorgeous outdoors right next door 😍
I hope you had a way better experience there than we did. We wont be going back and O don’t recommend anyone going there. One incident the lady there lied straight to me. We had a few more uncalled for issues also.

Cades Cove is closed once a week to cars. Bicycling, walking and running only. Beautiful loop. Really easy ride. Best way to see the park!
That sounds amazing!
@@lifererouted It's not closed on Wednesday's anymore until next year.
Good to know!

Oh wow, we'll have to check that out next time we visit! That's awesome Betty Jo. Thank you so much 🥰
So nice to see you guys in the Smoky Mountains!
We had such a good time there!
This is where we always stay. Love it
We love Cades Cove and New Found Gap

We actually went there!! Just didn't make the video 😊 we really enjoyed it!
Welcome to my back yard. Glad you guys had a good time.

@@lifererouted yes & we had two visit our RV park in Townsend.

Thanks for subbing! Love hearing those stories, Eric!! 🥰
There are many hikes in the Smokies with beautiful waterfalls 😊
We so wish we got to do some of the hikes!! It started raining on us in Cades Cove so we gave up 😅
We were at Cades Cove in June. We rode our bikes through the loop and came within 20 ft of a big black bear. We saw 4 while driving into the Cove.
Hello glad you guys enjoyed Cades cove and we to live in western North Carolina and we also met you guys at the grand design rally in Myrtle Beach we were with the rice family from Asheville I like watching you videos as we are very new to rving so thank you guys
Awesome! So glad you were able to meet us there! Thank you!
We use the outdoor Windex pads and pole to clean our trailer. The pads are soapy.
Thanks for bringing us along! Love Tennessee!!
Thank you Wayne! It's such a beautiful state 😍
We stay at Up The Creek in pigeon Forge, small campground, no bath houses, but a great campground, plenty of separation, full hook ups.
Sounds great!
Cool - we haven’t seen someone playing the psaltry in years, it’s quite the unique sound 🎵
We couldn't figure out what the instrument actually was. Thank you for that! It was such a neat experience for us
Creekside rv park is a good family owned campground .i have stayed there every year for about 20 years .Wears valley to henderson springs road second campground on the right
Up the creek Campground is the best place near pigeon forge. Spacious sites, very quiet, most back up to a creek.

Thanks for the tips, Carolyn!! It's a great place!
Watching your video is relaxing. Makes people wish they were there
Glad you enjoyed!
Great place, we have stayed there multiple times in the last year
Good morning. Great video. We will have to add that to one of our must stops to visit. Have a great day. Safe Travels.
Thanks so much! It's worth a visit, great RV park!
Thanks for pointing out the RV rentals- always good to know.
Thanks for watching!
So glad you all liked it! Sara looked at me and said “Did you send them there?” LOL! “No, but I may have had something to do with it.” 😉
Totally forgot to message you - thank you so much for the recommendation!! We really liked it 🥰 You can tell Sara you get the credit for it 😁

Awe, thank you so much!!! We appreciate it!
Go to cades cove in the spring to see the bears. We went this spring end of April in the evening and seen 8 of them!
Oh wow!! We'll definitely have to go back in the spring then!
Another great video I enjoyed it as always, happy camping and safe travels
Thank you so much friend!!
Cheer wine is so good! I wanted you to see some bears so bad! Enjoy your time there! (Jane in SC) ❤️🙏🏻
It's soooo good! We may have bought a couple cases to bring back to Indiana with us 😅 we'll see bears someday, I'm sure! Thanks so much Jane 🥰
I avoid the area most of the time but imo the best park is Honeysuckle Meadows, a little further away, a lot more space at sites, and probably cheaper
Oh good to know, we'll have to check it out if we go back!
We just were there in the KOA
Nice adventure, and looks like a really nice area. That’s one area of the country I’ve not visited before. We appreciate the videos. Oh and you can tell a fawn by the short nose. 😁Happy Camping!
It really was! You should definitely visit sometime. Thanks so much Dan 🥰
Another great video, loving the inspiration!
Thank you James!
We are at PFRV Resort right now. Super nice cg.

We're often fortunate enough to see deer or turkey at our local "state bark", but every once in a while we'll see something far out like a little tortoise crossing the road.

Good question! I don't usually go over 65. Our tires are rated higher and everything, but I usually stay at around 65 on the interstate.
We always see bears there. Take 3/4 Dr Pepper and 1/4 Cheerwine. So good.
Haven't heard of that! We may have to try it out!
I nide a place for park my rv on pigeon forge tn for two months

I think you need some air bags on your truck.
Yep!
@@lifererouted I had a 1500 and added the airbags that fit inside of the coil springs, worked great.
This is nearby and involves bikes on a Wednesday at cades cove

Yes it’s the same place, shackalakin what’s crackin rv park and resort
Really nice RV park but just saw the rates and yikes it’s pricy lol
I think that's pretty average for Pigeon Forge, but you're not wrong!
We heading there next week u think we need reservations
Good question! Never hurts to call ahead, these days we recommend reservations if it's somewhere you really want to visit!

Pigeon Forge is where? State? Near what big city?
Oh good point! It's in eastern Tennessee, near Gatlinburg or Knoxville. A combination of everything you could do in a city and gorgeous outdoors right next door 😍
Cheerwine is the Lord's soda.
😂😂😂 #truth
Hopefully you guys missed the big fire.
Oh no, I didn't realize there was a fire there! Hopefully everyone's okay
Did you see any bears?
We didn't! Maybe next time 🤞
I hope you had a way better experience there than we did. We wont be going back and O don’t recommend anyone going there. One incident the lady there lied straight to me. We had a few more uncalled for issues also.

Pigeon Forge is a tourist trap….enjoy
We did enjoy it! Thanks!
