- Let’s make Lapsi with P-TAL. Lapsi is a traditional, sweet porridge dessert made with cracked wheat, Jaggery and coconut for a nutritious and wholesome dessert. This dessert is popular in many parts of India. Today I’m sharing how my mom makes it at our home.
Considered beneficial for health, these vessels are expensive and harder to maintain and have lost the favour of the masses in modern times. P-TAL hopes to change that.

INGREDIENTS
* 1 cup broken wheat (Dalia)
* 1/2 cup chopped Jaggery
* 3 cup hot water
* 1/4 cup coconut slices
* 3/4 cup Ghee
INSTRUCTIONS
* In a kadhai on medium heat, add ghee and broken wheat and roast until it turns aromatic and golden color.
* * Next add hot water and cook until the water is absorbed, cover with a lid while cooking
* Add jaggery and mix well and cook until jaggery is dissolved
* Next, add the coconut and give it a toss
* Transfer to a serving plate, and garnish
