How about a competition? While Molly, you are a clear pro and know how to maximize your day, I’d love to see you get in a competition to get the most rides / attractions done but handi-cap you with a husband, and two small children (or other AE members acting like children). Your competition would be a pair of AE members who are on a “date” and then the third contestant is a single AE member able to repeat the strategies in this video.
I think it would be really informative to see if a family of four could realistically make this work but then set expectations in case it falls short.
The strategies in this video can be applied to all! This is just a fun way to explain the system and provide tips. The perfect day videos are a good mix of Lightning Lanes and Standby for more tips on navigating the park. We also did a video as a group of 4 and were still able to pull all of the big rides in this park. Leading Duckfist and Quincy around was in fact like bringing children 😂

The 120 Minute Rule was so confusing and then you all not only made a list but gave the timing breakdowns as an example by each point? I love you all! Screenshot that tip!
Be careful! I'm pretty sure the examples at 25:40 are incorrect because at 12:03PM, Molly booked Tower of Terror for 2:10PM-3:10PM. Option A (as soon as you tap in) would be 2:10PM at the earliest. Option B (if the window expires) would be 3:11PM. And Option C (120 minutes after booking) would be 2:03PM. Thus Option C happens first. The on-screen text says that option A will happen first.
Mollie mentions being nice to Cast Members…maybe for some added magic/Pixie Dust…but folks, please, if you go, please show the Cast Members who wait on you some extra appreciation. They seem to be catching so much negative from guests now. Yeah, they are “just doing their job,” but do you thank your grocery store cashier or the fast food counter person for serving you? Maybe I’m just weird doing that. So many of the Cast Members are not just there for the job…but really believe in Disney and the Magic…return the Magic to them with a little appreciation…you may be surprised by their reactions!! I “Celebrated Cast Members” on my last visit (“Celebrating” button, asking for autographs, over the top appreciation), and the responses I got were just so wonderful (there were even some tears a few times…theirs and mine).
Molly can intrude on my family's Smugglers ride any time. We would love it!

First, as a height challenged smaller woman, thank you Molly for removing your ears at shows. Second, ya'll have some of the best editors I've seen on Utube, good job guys and gals. PSA - if you have neck or back issues or are a smaller person and solo, Aliens might not be for you. It is a little jerky and as a smaller person, when riding solo, I got thrown all around that car.
Honestly, it broke my heart to hear that the Guest Relations CM cries almost every day. Whatever happened to treat others the way you want to be treated.
Love all your videos. I was wondering if you could do an MK early entry comparison--which allows you to do more, heading into Fantasy Land or Tomorrow Land first? And, even a non-early entry rope drop comparison. Which is the best land to tackle first?

TLDR: Mine Train (Fantasyland) is top priority if not buying it, regardless of Early Entry. If buying Mine Train, Early Entry is Peter Pan, while rope drop is Jungle Cruise or Peter Pan by preference. Everything else depends on preference and having Genie+ or not.
After watching a lot of these, I gathered from the Magic Kingdom videos it tends to be best to go to Peter Pan or Seven Dwarfs Mine Train (Fantasyland) if doing Early Entry (unless Space Mountain is your top favorite priority, because that one can be easier to do later than Peter Pan or Mine Train, but it does get high waits also), but for regular rope drop guests Jungle Cruise (Adventureland) tends to be a good first thing to avoid line build-up later (Adventureland is not open for Early Entry). Especially if you have Genie+, getting in line for one of those high-wait rides while booking the other as Lightning Lane is the strategy. Mine Train is the number one advised attraction to jump in line for with Early Entry or rope drop if you don't want to pay for it.
Personally, when I go with Early Entry, I've figured out the best for time for me is to ride Peter Pan, buy Mine Train, grab LL for Jungle Cruise, then everything else gets easier from there. If I didn't have Early Entry, I would book Peter Pan, ride Jungle Cruise, and buy Mine Train. Without Genie+ or buying Mine Train, Mine Train is easily the top priority to get in line for before it builds to insane waits. There's no contest between Mine Train and Space Mountain or even Jungle Cruise for wait times with no LL.
I hope that helps some until they can maybe do a video with both to directly compare
I totally beyond appreciate how much Molly hustles to help us have the best Disney days ever. I’m currently watching this video as an escape during the evening work slowdown, and even hectic lightning lane challenges are a fun treat to live vicariously through.
I am loving all of these Genie + videos. I am using it as a helpful guide for my upcoming trip.

Love these! We rode ToT 5 times in a row in 2000 when we took our kids, then 8 and 10! Thanks for showing what's possible and giving good details about how it should be done!
When my family and I went during end of February and early March, my dad and I would get up at 10 minutes before 7. We would favorite the ride that we wanted genie plus for. That makes it appear at the top. My dad and I would constantly refresh the page until it opens at 7:00. I would do the genie plus rides and my dad would do the fancy rides. When we did this for Hollywood Studios, I managed to get Slinky Dog Dash. My dad wasn’t able to get Rise but that was because of a credit card error. But, on the bus to the park, he was able to get one! So, take advantage of waking up even just 10 minutes before 7:00 and don’t give up when you can’t get a ride! Just fiddle faddle and check back later!

I was at Hollywood Studios that same day. But definitely missed you (and definitely did not see myself anywhere in the background).
And on our last day in Magic Kingdom, I accidentally booked only 3 of us for Big Thunder Mountain while in line at Pirates because the fourth was not eligible. Later on, we had to fiddle faddle by having one cancel the booking for 3 and immediately have me rebook for 4 and it actually worked. That was the last ride for our entire trip.
Molly!!! I fiddle faddled for 1hr straight at 430pm for slinky dog dash- for a family of 5 using genie+...refresh, refresh, refresh. The ultimate last minute where I was going to give up (I actually said "I quit") I snagged a 550-650 lightning lane!!!! Bonkers. Thanks for all the suggestions 🙏🏽💜

Genie+ is so crazy to be in WDW. I only used it when I was at Disneyland in January and it was SO easy out there. I literally booked Rise for 12:30 right at noon while I was eating lunch. Crazy to me how quickly it and the other LL go in Florida. I think it also helps that in Disneyland, you have to be IN the park before you can make your reservations. I think it cuts down on people just grabbing them just in case and then not using them.
Genie+ is WAY easier in Disneyland, I totally agree!
It’s so much more fun watching you try to do this rather than watching me fail epically! What a cluster (mess).
I love your videos and they are so helpful!! I’d love to see a video where you use Genie+ and standby to maximize rides for a half day! So many of us cannot go from rope drop to fireworks, so I’d love to see how to get in the most rides from rope drop to afternoon. Forget about sit down meals/character meets/parades… we just want to hit as many rides as possible and then go back and relax before dinner! Thank you!!

Thanks Molly, your work is truly appreciated from across the pond. I do miss booking Fast Passes and the Dining Plan reservations. Genie + has me lost!!! Just spent 5 days in the parks over Holy Week including Thursday-Saturday just before Easter. I have seen all your videos and I had never seen the resort this busy in any of them lol. Thanks to you though, we managed to conquer all of the big attractions using Lighting Lanes. We only waited in one queue, for Rise of the Resistance, but actually just yesterday we were able to secure a Fancy ride pass for it (and we were staying at a Disney hotel, so securing one was extremely hard). Fiddle faddle, that’s what it takes. A lot of it, so it can be annoying, but better than the 2-3 hours of lines we were seeing everywhere. Also, the park hopper helps a lot because you can adjust your day by hopping to a park where there is more available on Genie+. For example, on our first day, Tuesday (it was already crazy busy), we tackled all of EPCOT by rope dropping Frozen (early entry, 15 minute wait) and making Test Track our first Genie+ selection at 7am. Then I kept refreshing the tip board until I was able to get Remy’s Fancy ride pass for just after noon. We were done with EPCOT at about 6pm, so then we head over Hollywood studios, knowing that doing that park all in one day was gonna be impossible over Holy Week (we had park reservations for Hollywood the day after). We did Toy Story Manía, Star Tours and Aerosmith that same day, allowing for more flexibility the day after. Wednesday we rope dropped Hollywood studios to do the standby-line for Rise, we had to wait 2:30 hours because it broke down, but then we managed to do all of the rest of the rides except for Smugglers and Tower of Terror. On the following days we returned to Hollywood studios to tackle those two. This week was too damn busy, but we did it all. Even Expedition Everest that just reopened yesterday!!!
This was truly helpful - thank you! I have to admit I’ve had such a bad attitude toward Disney charging more money for Genie+, that we didn’t use it on our trip in January of this year, and it was absolutely miserable at most of the parks, despite doing early entry and the extended evening.
I think I need to be more open to going with the flow and what Genie+ suggests, as opposed to having an idea of what I want to ride. In the past, my husband and I have gone to a park, ridden our 2-3 favorite rides, taken a break, and then hopped to another park at night. Between park reservations, Genie+ (or lack of), and lack of extra magic hours, it’s hard to ride the rides we want and leave for another park.
Of course, when we go in January, the day is much shorter than what it took you to ride all the rides here, but I’m sure it’ll still work especially if they continue early entry and evening hours, and we utilize our time to get on standby rides with short lines.
Molly, I was there last month and used all your tips for Genie Plus and Lightning Lanes...thank you! The one issue I came across was trying to "Cancel" a Genie Plus timeslot. I wasn't even looking to modify. We realized that we wanted to park hop to Epcot earlier, so wanted to cancel our Rock-n-Rolleroaster timeslot, to free it up for someone else's group. No one in our party was able to accomplish this task.
Sometimes you have to hard close the app to get the cancel button to show up - very frustrating

Not exactly an intrusion but I saw Molly at MK when my family was there in December of 2021. I hadn't started watching this channel yet so I didn't know who she was at the time! I love these videos and I learn so many new things about the parks.

On our last visit to WDW, which was just last week, my husband and I purchased Genie+ but no per ride lightning lanes and it worked out for us. We didn't really care about ROTR or Flight of Passage as we have experienced these on previous trips and at Disneyland. For Remy and Mine Train we just watched wait times and especially for closures for weather etc. and it worked well got on both with less then 15 minute waits.
Genie+ was useful and we were able to use it almost all of the attractions we wanted to ride.

One thing, though: Is there an alternative to these oppressive blue boxes? Seems every time I glance up from my work, there's a blue box almost completely covering the screen. It's more like a text-based slide show with audio.
The info is great, I just think lowering the opacity or losing the box would he more visually enjoyable.
I would love to see videos on using Genie on a park hop day. Specifically spending the morning at Hollywood and then hopping to Magic at 2. How can you maximize Genie when Hollywood books up so quick in the day?
I apologize if this was already addressed at some point, but I have a question regarding Genie+. My family and I are headed to Disney World in mid-June and have purchased Genie + for us all and I have us linked in our My Disney Experience app. My question is, on the day of our visit, is it possible for me to be on my phone at 7:00 am to book our first Lightning Lane of the day at the same time as my wife is also on her phone, booking an Individual (Fancy Ride) Lightning Lane, too? Basically, are the Individual Lightning Lane bookings treated separately than the regular Lightning Lane reservations (so you can reserve them at the same time)? Or can I only book one or the other at 7:00 am and then wait until I either use that one or the 2 hour window ends to book the other? I hope this makes sense! Thanks!

If you don't want to pay for Rise, is it best to rope drop Rise and book Slinky Dog LL first?
Yes. Rope dropping rise is your best strategy as it tends to break down in the afternoons and evenings. We rope dropped last week on two different days and got on the ride within 35 min each day. We were staying at a Disney resort so we did have the early entry perk which helped tremendously. You will have to snag slinky dog right at 7am as those go very quickly too!
I know I’m probably a niche audience but as a family that still has to use rider switch I feel like I need a list of double touch point attractions in order to really master mah fiddle faddlin’!!

Star Tours is such a great ride! But also makes me motion sick...haha. Tip: Avoid the Star Tours line around the time of the Indiana Jones shows end. The posted wait for Star Tours was low so we headed that way, only to find out that everyone left the Indiana Jones show and headed right to that line! Uggh...

yes I did try a few times to book a new ride once I tapped in and it did not work every time...just super confusing which really shocked me. I had looked and studied it before I went in Feb

Can you do a video about utilizing Genie + to max advantage if you aren't staying at a WDW resort? I'm curious if you can even get ROR and if Genie+ is worth it if you don't get early entry. Best day ever for off resort guests. I can't seem to find one done like this.
That’s have done one or two video’s like that. Where one was a resort guest and the other a non resort guest.
Molly says in this video that it's really rare that you can get ROR if you aren't a resort guest. I know she's mentioned it in other videos as well, and I believe in one genie challenge she even chose to skip it as she knew it wasn't possible.
You likely can’t get rise but genie+ is fair game for all so you can do everything else 🤗

Maybe redemption passes work differently at Disneyland? I could book other LLs when I had it, but I was not allowed to *use* it if I had another LL booked.

When we were at WDW in January, my cousin and I worked as a team looking & booking on Genie+. It worked pretty good for us (party of 6). Anyone else have this experience??

Trying to grab that individual Lightning Lane for Rise of The Resistance is basically a battle royal, it’s not fun at all.
Great video. You are clearly a pro. But to the average guest this Genie+ is horrific. Plus a lot of people go to the parks to get away from reality and not use their phone. You were on your phone the entire day. I'm not happy with the direction Disney is headed.
I've said it on previous videos about LL purchases, Disney need to sort their systems out, when you select a time and pay for it. That time should be locked. You could end up with a time that does not work for your party, it's just bad Disney. You select a time and pay for that time, I understand the time changing between steps 1 and 2, but it should not alter whilst you are making the payment.
Molly, you can intrude on my family's smugglers memories any day.
