👌🏽 I use this technique too. Like you said the gloves are a must. I did fass and didn't use gloves the first time. It took months before my skin was right it looked like I had been burnt. Skin was dry and kept flaking. My friend who told me about this didn't trouble her but don't take the chance (whoever is reading my comment). It's a good technique.

I was so excited about this, just using something we all have in our cupboards. Only it turns out, in the UK or, maybe it's just my house, we don't have that oven cleaner. I wish you had told me at the start so that I didn't sit through that getting my hopes up. Sigh.

Thanks for this video! The Fume-Free (blue one) is so much more comfortable to use.
I used Vim for final scrub and it was soo quick and easy. Works great to give sink a nice shine also and removes that yellow film.
Just be careful not to get any of the oven cleaner on walls/ paint or white appliances. It will dissolve the paint and discolor white appliances if left to sit. I learned the hard way.

Just a little tip, please ensure you rinse your pans afterwards in a water and vinegar solution as recommended by the easy off website: www.easyoff.us/easy-off-heavy-duty-oven-cleaner/
Easy off contains dangerous chemicals that can be harmful if ingested. You can also achieve the same results with a non-toxic solution of vinegar, baking soda and dawn dish soap 😉
Keep up the great work Morris! Love your videos!

Oven cleaner will mess up your skin. It has very powerful chemicals & you should wear a mask when using it too. You can also use white vinegar with baking soda. You leave it on for a few hours & you'll be able to just wipe it off. It works on my stove top & my stove has hard, burnt layers of food. You just cover your stove, pot, pan or whatever your cleaning with baking soda & then you pour some white vinegar on it. It'll start to bubble & get a reaction & that's a good thing. Then you let it sit for a few hours, then you can start wiping all the grime off. If you need something more powerful, then use laundry detergent powder with white vinegar. That'll really strip it off. 😕

I do this too, but I use Lanher oven, grill and stove top cleaner. Its a product of Trinidad, there are others available here in Jamaica. Lanher is most affordable to me and it does the job well. I use to clean my stove top and burners, the oven/oven racks, pots, pans and baking sheet. Be sure to wear gloves when you use it too. 1 thing I hate abt it though, it gives off very strong fumes.

Nice video and all.. But may i offer some feedback love? Becuase of the flat walls in the room where you are recording, your voice is super echo-ey... Its distracting from what you are saying.. You want us to hear your handsome voice dont you? I think its an easy fix though.. Either record somewhere else(doesnt make sence to do that you need to be in the kitchen right?).. Or simply add paintings to the walls to break up the echo.. Possibly a lot of paintings ... Thanks dear;)

That's not a Teflon or Silverstone no stick bakeware sheet. That's bare aluminum that was seasoned with a thin oil seasoning as a no stick surface. I much prefer bare untreated aluminum or carbon steel bakeware I can season myself.

Kervensd Probably because we are subjected to cleaver marketing and don't usually think beyond what's on the packaging. If they had put the same contents in another container and advertised it to clean pots and pans we would probably buy that too. 😂😂
Sad thing is, it's the same marketing tactics that they use with generic and non generic medications.

Anyone who knows how to cook will realize, if you have shiny cookware, that you prize looks more than making good tasting food. What you are calling "stains" is a coating really good cooks love to have on their pans that helps their foods brown and taste great.
