There was this guy in the '60's named Serge Gainsbourg. You might want to look him up for reference. See "chanson" while you're at it, and "Jane Birkin" too. People should learn a bit about a subject before spouting off about it. cindefcknrella...you're entitled to your opinion and all, but you may want to get your eyes checked. Just sayin'.
She's Japanese and just turned 40 this year. Why is she singing in French? Cos she wants to her music is generally accepted as French pop or 'Shibuya Kei'.
