Is Losing Hope comepletly in Holder's POV, and not just flashback things like in This Girl with the Slammed series? I've been putting off reading Losing Hope since it came out...lol.

Losing hope is just holders POV.. I enjoyed it a lot better because we see what's going on in his head when he just "storms off" and doesnt talk. There's all a reason behind it!! It clears up ALOT

Still, it was a beautiful story and I'm so glad that I read it! Losing Hope is from Holden's pov but I think the continuation is called Finding Cinderella, even though it has a different couple as the main narrative. :]
Losing Hope is actual the events in Hopeless through Holder's POV. If you want a sort of sequel you should read Finding Cinderella. It takes place after Hopeless but the main character is Sky's best friend Six. It's free on kindle and it was really good. You also get an update on how Sky and Holder are doing.
FYI Losing Hope is a retelling from Holder's point of view but I has new information in it so I still really enjoyed it. I would recommend a break in between reading both of the books though because they are so similar 😄

Now I really see what is all the Coleen Hoover rave about and I really really wish that they publish more of her books here in Croatia, and the next one should definitely be Losing hope. But the feels... Now a little question for everyone reading this: Who was your favorite side character? I just finished the book and got through it really quickly, liked it, enjoyed it - but to me the actual meeting-the-father scene and "solution" just felt like a very easy way out of a bigger ending. Losing Hope is Hopeless in Holder's perspective... but it's not like most male POV books, it's a must read! :) This was my first CoHo book, after that I fell in love and am now totally obsessed with her! All of her books are AMAZING!
I really enjoyed Hopeless! It was cute and light in the beginning, besides the grocery scene, which I really loved! The First Dinner Quest scene was so adorable! When we start finding out more and the flashbacks begin, they were some very unexpected turns.. I didn't like how at first Holder would be happy, then the next he'd go all intense. In the end you understand why but bc of that, he'd be lower on my book boyfriend list! Overall it was a great read! Colleen Hoover knows how to write!
So I got this book around a year ago for my birthday and when I started reading it it was hard going after the 1st or 2nd hapter but then it was so freaking great and when she starts getting flashbacks, it was so so freaking sad, it was really hard to read it, a really difficult story. It was probably the most painful book I ever read. And I loved it so much and I've just learned thanks to you that there is another one! So happy! It's a MUST READ!

Hopeless was my first Colleen Hoover book and and it was just WOW!!! I had no idea where this story was going but when it was revealed who Sky was I ..I..I... I was at a loss for words. I love Holder and Losing Hope it just amazing and ties up Sky and Holder's story so nicely. I also love Six and Daniel.
"Losing Hope" is the same thing except it's told in Holder's POV. You get to read his side of the story. The only difference between the two books is that Holder writes letters to his sister in a journal and those letters are incorporated in the book. You get to meet Daniel, Holder's best friend(he's funny!) who has his own short story called "Finding Cinderella". It's free on amazon.

My favorite scenes is definitely the whole mailbox/running/fainting ones, haha! I recommend you reading it because you learn more about him and why he acted a certain way and you get a better understanding viewpoint of him. Plus you get to read about Sky through his POV and thats always fun! :D

I need to take a break from this..... and when I came back, and realized he killed himself, I was like....... OMFG?! WHAT JUST HAPPENED?!
Karen's explanation was more mindblowing and emotional to me, it was a lot to handle when her dad told her the truth, I wanted to stop but I couldn't, I just had to know if and how is it going to resolve itself. Yes, the book is really dark, but it is nice to step out of your comfort zone, outside the cutsie YA or contemporary section. It makes you think in a way.
Obviously this is not a light and cute contemporary, but still I felt like when it took a turn for the dark it went REALLY dark like everything that can go wrong in Sky's life has somehow been incorporated.Then you get to the ending and you see how it all works out but still that was one hell of a low point. Loved holder though; just not too sure I like his name I mean seriously picture this dialog " I have a crush on Holder" said Sky. " what holder ?" enquirers Karen. Gotta say I still like maybe someday a lot better.
You need to read Maybe Someday. The best Colleen Hoover book so far according to me :) I loved Hopeless, and no need to worry. Losing Hope is basically the same story, but written from Holder's POV, which is very comforting to read from, as Hopeless is a very frustrating, yet beautiful book!

From all the Colleen Hoover books I have read I could not push myself to continue reading this book just because it was very boring and disappointing. I have read many Colleen Hoover books in the past and have always loved them, but for some reason she failed to deliver for me on Hopeless, which is sad because i was looking forward to reading it.

I totally loved this book, I cried and laughed and it was just soooo good:) Breckin was the best and I really have to get the next book!! I have the novella on my kindle it was free, so I was like "gotta get me that" and it was just so emotional but in the best way and it only took me like 2 days to read... Then I read Ugly Love and OMG same situation there - loved it so much:) I have come to the conclusion that Colleen Hoover is a God when it comes to these beautiful amazing stories:)
You must read Losing Hope, it´s absolutely beautiful, I loved it more than Hopeless

From all the Colleen Hoover books I have read I could not push myself to continue reading this book just because it was very boring and disappointing. I have read many Colleen Hoover books in the past and have always loved them, but for some reason she failed to deliver for me on Hopeless, which is sad because i was looking forward to reading it.
Does anyone actually leave when she says not to stay for the spoilers because I don't. Lol

I read this book 2 years ago. SPOILERS: When I was reading chapter 1 with Sky all going crazy/ crying/throwing stuff everywhere in her old room, I was like: GIRL, u ok? WTH wrong with u? Why u throw stuff at urself in the mirror? Y u hate urself so much? R u going thru a major breakup? Did u loose someone? Then I'm like: we're u S. Abused? I WAS RIGHT.
