Exclusive Preview of Special Feature: “A Talk with Kyle MacLachlan and Sheryl Lee”
A rare joint interview running approximately 90 minutes with the actors behind the iconic characters of Laura Palmer and Special Agent Dale Cooper. Moderated by longtime Lynch collaborator Kristine McKenna, the two stars offer a fascinating and unique perspective of the original series and its pilot, Fire Walk With Me, A Limited Event Series and their special experiences working with David Lynch.
It's influence on television and film is still potent to this day. If you think about it, there are a lot of ambitious TV projects that likely wouldn't have existed without the context of "Twin Peaks" -- the story itself was compelling, but the way in which the story was told made the show what it was. Anytime I watch "Lost," "Westworld," "The X-Files," "The Killing," "Pretty Little Liars," "Desperate Housewives," or even "Riverdale," the influence of "Twin Peaks" is quite apparent.
Twin Peaks was the beginning of prestige television, for sure.
There are dozens and dozens of shows that can draw a straight line to Twin Peaks as influence. And Twin Peaks influenced even more general tv fare like all the CSI shows. Without Albert Rosenfield, none of those would have taken off either. (It speaks volumes that others could take some little aspect of the show and make an entire franchise out if it.)

The first season of twin peaks was absolutely brilliant, the best thing Lynch ever did. Well, that and blue valvet. Sheryl Lee was so beautiful back in the 90s. It's a shame we all have to get old.

No its just a natural fact of life and she still is a good looking woman. You know whats a shame? When narcissistic people cannot deal with the fact of getting old and resort to plastic surgery and look like abominations in the end. But enough about Lara Flynn Boyle.
I’ve watched it so many times and became obsessed from the moment in first aired in 90/91…the humour and atmospheric element was brilliant and the original series still stands the test of time. I always loved Audrey and wished that her and Coop had hooked up as was supposedly meant to happen.
She is old, yes, but she still has this beauty to her. She’s aged very nicely. :)
