Hi, I’ll be visiting Pompeii in mid march (16-18th) and I keep seeing conflicting reports, some say boat rides don’t operate to Capri and Sorrento during this time, others say they do but on an abbreviated schedule. I also hear most stores and restaurants are closed. Any advice? I really want to see the blue grotto but is it possible in mid march? Will it be too cold? Or should I just stick to Pompeii and forget about the boat ride to capri (we’d be taking a day trip from Rome)
@@TheTourGuyVidsthanks for the honesty, I did some more research and thought the same. Would you recommend doing lunch at least in sorrento? Or should we do Pompeii and head back to Rome for an early dinner?
Happy travel ❤❤

We just got back from Rome, Florence and Sorrento a few weeks ago. I’d love to go back to the coast and see Capri and Ischia.

I would stick to Pompeii and return for Capri. The trip to Capri is not optimal.

@@missym877 Sorrento is much easier to get to!
Is it possible to drive in Capri or visit in late January, or are most things closed at that time?
Many things will be closed for the season but people stilll live there
