- Everytime I stop and meditate on the words of this hymn, I am so challenged. It reminds me that I am to take just one day at a time. There are new mercies every morning. There is new strength we find in Him. There is abundant hope in His promises. Each day is just another opportunity to draw closer to Jesus and point others to Him.

Day by day, and with each passing moment,
Strength I find to meet my trials here;
Trusting in my Father’s wise bestowment,
I’ve no cause for worry or for fear.
He, whose heart is kind beyond all measure,
Gives unto each day what He deems best,
Lovingly its part of pain and pleasure,
Mingling toil with peace and rest.

Every day the Lord Himself is near me,
With a special mercy for each hour;
All my cares He fain would bear and cheer me,
He whose name is Counsellor and Pow’r.
The protection of His child and treasure

This the pledge to me He made.

You play beautifully. I have been playing for 69 years since I was 3. I taught for 30 years. When you get to Florida let your piano acclimate for a month. Then schedule 2 tunings 2 months apart, to bring the strings about where they need to be for pitch, and then 2 months later to re street he the few strings that will slip out of tune. Those listeners with perfect pitch and relative pitch can fully enjoy your fabulous renditions. If you need Iwill pay for the running, check to see if your sound board has cracked during travel and large temperature changes. I can’t wait to hear more. Seriously, I will pay to tune for you since moving into a new home with little can be costly. Bless you.

Living in this wicked, and confusing world we will never have true peace and joy. True peace comes only from Jesus, and trusting him. Much of what is happening right now is talked of in the bible. Now more than ever we need to be trusting Jesus and praying diligently. The Lord tells us in Mark 16:15 he commands us too "Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature".
My prayer is people will turn to the author and finisher of Peace, Joy, and salvation. I pray someone will realize how important it is to trust in him.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Please call upon Jesus today.
From 1980 to 2002 my grandmother was the program director at Carnegie Hall in NYC. I saw hundreds of performances (for free--hahaha). That piano performance is equal to some of the piano performances that I saw over many decades. VERY well done, Erin.

I would love to hear Victory In Jesus also. My favorite is Amazing Grace I have sung it from the time I was very young and it is played at all weddings in our family and played or sung at all our funerals.

When my mom was suffering from dementia and would have a bad day with a lot of anxiety, we would play songs with you playing. The instant relief from the anxiety and fear was amazing and a testament to the spirit filled music and the spirit on the hands playing. Thank you for what you do.
This is such a beautiful and comforting song. My life long regret was quitting piano lessons. It’d be a dream to play again. I only play completely by ear and started when I was 5. I missed out on lessons and that’s one thing I wish my mom forced me to do.
