My boyfriend and I were at a bonfire recently where I met a lot of his friends for the first time. I was talking to a few of the girls and I said that I have never slow danced before. I guess my boyfriend heard me because he put this song on and took my hand and started to dance with me while he was singing along in my ear. Cars driving by honking! I recently got engaged to my girlfriend of three years and we are getting married next year. Seeing this video reminds me of when people would dance and it seems like the world stops and it’s only you two. It’s an amazing feeling where all your stress is just lifted away, and every chance we get we will make time for stuff like this. My favorite thing to do is park my truck facing the pasture and we dance with the running light on so it’s a dark glow and all we have is the music, the stars, and each other and I couldn’t ask for any more out of my life. Thank you so much for this song. August 8th, I had the most amazing night on an impromptu date. We sat and talked for hours and connected and at the end of the night, at 2am in front of the bistro the most beautiful woman I've ever met works at, we put this song on and slow danced in the parking lot before we said good night. This song captured a moment in time so perfectly and the night felt like something straight off the silver screen. Admittedly had never heard the song before that night and now it's on repeat.
