- We visit the Real Life Ghost Town of Henry River North Carolina. Henry River Mill Village was the filming site to the first episode of the Hunger Games. During the early 20th century Henry River Mills employed hundreds people and the Mill provided them housing and many of the houses are still here. Hey Y'all welcome to my channel. Watched all the Hunger Games, very different kind of movie, but interesting to say the least. I visited this place sometime around 2015 was only able to take pictures from the road, everything was heavily posted and closed off. Nice tour, thanks ! Enjoyed your video.

Some waterfall scenes were filmed in the Dupont State forest near Brevard NC
