You explain really well ! Thanks a lot for your video Hello ! Can you please tell me that the results obtained from ETABS analysis( Base shear, Displacements, Drifts) are already amplified or they have to be multiplied with the force modification factors (R in ASCE or Rd-Ro in NBCC)?
Thanks @Manu Moudgil for appreciating my work, There is NO need to multiply the seismic analysis results with response reduction factor R as when you define seismic loads in Etabs 2016 it will ask you for R value. Hello.. when i complete the design, Only one value of longitudinal reinforcement is shown on top of beam.. values at ends & bottom of beam are not shown. can you please help in this regard.. how to display all longitudinal reinforcement values?? thanks
In the design part whenever I go for design some of my members fail, when I increase the design section by going into change design section and run the design again, the element passes but when after that I do detailing, it again shows the cross-section of the previous fail member in detailing????
Muhammad, Goto detailing menu & click on Clear detailing to clear the previous detailing data. Rerun the whole process, this might solve your problem.For more detailed design course videos log onto www.fieldready.co.in
In some of the column summary...axial loads are denoted with negative sign... but in most cases axial load are positive...is there is problem in design???

The negative sign is for pull load due to earthquake.

hi. some of my columns are shown as red but when i check the design it says all members passed. if my design is okay then why some columns are red?
If it is showing RED, then it should show as a failed member. Try remodeling the structure from scratch.
