Glad I found your channel. Only one issue you guys are enabler’s 😂😂😂. The bmx addiction started around 10 and has come and gone and back again over 40 yrs. Something about a clean bmx bike of any size. Great content! Jealous we don’t have many ride outs where I’m at.

You can change that, if you are willing to put forth the effort. It could bring a great community together. I highly recommend you follow through with organizing a ride. Check with local bike shops. Make some flyers an post them in areas that fellow riders might gain an interest. Frankly, the guys that are this channel have done this over years and it has created a community and comradery that is undeniable. They might be enablers however, some of us have not given up BMX since we cherish it. Spread the word.

These ride videos make me miss the islands so bad. I lived on Oahi and Big Island for a couple years. My wife and I are trying to move back. I hear it's changed a lot in the last 20 years but the aloha is the same.
Yeah the aloha spirit is still there as long as you are respectful. People are generally nice unless they are disrespected. The Big Island hasn’t changed much. Oahu is still pretty populated and busy. It’s also super expensive to live here so keep that in mind. Glad these videos are keeping Hawaii on your mind! Thanks for the comment and for watching! 🤙🏼

😂 I have some lower back issues that get aggravated pretty easily. Pulling up to practice wheelies doesn’t help it unfortunately. I really want to wheelie though! 🤙🏼

@@cruisinginthe808 I think he took it into the grass in one point of the video. He’s got those oversized fat tires on it and I think the chair part is suspended so it must be very comfortable.

Thanks! I’ll be working for a non-profit promoting digital media in our schools on the entire island. Hawaii is like anyplace else. We have our ups and downs. The hard part is finding affordable housing. For sure the bike life scene is really friendly. Guys like Elton do a lot to support that Aloha Spirit! Thanks for the comment and for watching!! 🤙🏼

Hey there. I’m a recent subscriber. I got into this BMX bike life late. I use to have a bmx when I was a kid but I bought a GT Pro Series (26”) for my son for his 5th grade promotion last month. I pulled the trigger and bought myself a 29 GT street performer (like the one Bernie got for his wife) while I was at it. City Grounds had a killer deal! Anyways, I wanted to know what kind of camera set up you have? I want to start filming rides with my son and I !??
By the way, I was born in Hawaii (Oahu) and moved to Bay Area Cali when I was young. Still have family in Hawaii! Keep doing what you guys doing. Love the content you and Bernie provide! 🤙🏾✌🏾
It’s never too late to get back into it man! Welcome back! I used to use a GoPro but I didn’t like having only one hand on the bars. I switched to the Insta360 X3 and mount it to the bars. I push it out in front of me or just off to the side. The cool thing about it is being able to get any angle from one video file. But you need to run the file through their software to tell it where to show so editing it takes way longer. That’s the only downside. I use Rode Wireless Go Mics to capture the audio. E bikes are cool to get people out but hopefully they enjoy it and actually get a leg powered machine and get in shape. Cycling has changed my life losing almost 70 pounds no more diabetes meds

What’s better health wise to have an e-bike or say just a peddle bike I got. 29 gt world tour bmx but I do like electric just don’t think it’s good having as I bought a bike to keep for by peddling not having a motor assist peddling anyways love you all. Cheers
Peddle bikes are for sure the way to go if you’re trying to keep up or improve your health. If you want to commute to work, an e-bike is a great alternative. I used one so I wouldn’t be all sweaty when I got to my job! For some people, they might need the peddle assist so it all depends on your own situation. If you can still ride a peddle bike with no problems I say stick to that! Thanks for the comment and for watching! 🤙🏼
