Beautiful work Rebecca. I understand your desire to share your favorite and it is not boasting. I feel the same way. I have cerebral palsy and sometimes despite my best efforts, my disability does show. I still love coloring and it brings me joy. There are times though that a page turns out beautiful ( when I compare me to me) and I want to share it too. I rarely do it with the public just select friends. Keep up the great work. Thanks for sharing!

Hey Beck love your channel! I lost my dad July 2018... Coloring really help through a lot of my grieving process. Now I dedicate the month of June to only coloring males, cars, motorcycles etc images that deal with dads... Love your images

I liked seeing your coloring pages and I liked how you talked about them. I thought it was a good outlook to have when you talked about you liking your coloring at your level. I hope I can remember that and hang on to that when I'm coloring. Some people do some amazing work and I don't know if I'll be able to ever be that good but you inspired me to still enjoy coloring and let me know I can be proud of something I've done at my own level. I think that is so cool. Thank you 😊
You are so welcome! Remember, there’s no rush when coloring a picture. Take as much time as you want when trying new things. The only person who has to be happy is YOU!❤️

Hi, again, lol, I was noticing a Halloween page in the Romantic Country book where you did the great breads picture and wondered if you'd picked pages for October/Halloween yet and if you would consider doing that one? You might have shown two breads pictures and I think it was an opposite page from one of them. I think you were made for this hobby cuz you seem to advanced so quickly, even from when you first started in 2016 to just a couple months later in 2017! You're an inspiration to me and quickly becoming my favorite coloring channel! Is there anyone in particular that you followed early on that helped you with your shadowing & highlighting skills? I'm feeling very slow in these two areas and the struggle is real! lol Overall, I guess I'm feeling intimidated by most pages and I'm using quite simple books, no overwhelming details which would obviously scare me off. Thanks for any input you might lend or recommendations of other channels to watch. I'm subscribed to several but feel like I've developed a coloring blockage. UGH!!!
Thank you! One of channels that helped me a lot in the beginning is Pencil Stash. She gives great tutorials and cute coloring tips. As far as Halloween coloring, I plan to color all Halloween pictures in the month of October.

You're very talented and the pages shared with us are very beautiful. I can see why they're part of your favorites. I really love your videos. They're simple, interesting, informative and inspiring, which to me are the best. I don't need all the unnecessary, overly done special effects and unnatural exaggerated reactions that we sometimes see with other TH-camrs/colorists. You seem to be a kind genuine person and it makes it easy for us to connect with you.
Thanks for sharing your beautiful pages. I always enjoy your videos. Since my accident four years ago I'm no longer able to do my job, which I loved doing so much (I was a nurse). So coloring helps me through the difficult days. Take care and happy coloring ☺

I just love the glitter gel pens in the cupcake fairy, sparkles so much like a fairy should. The mermaids with the glitter is truly amazing with the tails. I love the food mandalas. They are so different. The Victorian bakery lady is by far my favorite as well. They are all really amazing though.

Beautiful pictures. Thank you so much for sharing them with us. Romantic Country is a book on my wish list. I have to save for new books. I do have my own collection. I hate to color in them because I am afraid to ruin the Artist work. I am a realist type of colorist. I get pages off of Pinterest turn them into greyscale. My favorite color pencils are Prisma. I learned them first. Holbein are the Aultimate color pencil set I want but I know I could NEVER afford them. So I wish and dream about them. I am dirt poor and have to do with what I can save for. I don't know if I have a style. I just color and hope it comes out looking ok. I worry that when I start my channel I will set my standards to high and fail.
Don’t set any expectations when you start your channel. Just be YOU!

Funny enough the 1st ever page I colored is still my favorite and when I go back and look at it, I’m still amazed I was able to color like that. However, I seem to be getting worse instead of better 🤪. I’ve been distracted with all the wonderful coloring mediums that exist and watching reviews and hunting them down… it’s exhausting and expensive!
I will look up a simple tutorial color along on the books I already have and practice my blending.

Thank you! I always use my Prismacolors in all of my Romantic Country books. It’s just one of those things for me.😊
Your pages are beautiful! You have such a talent for pulling together beautiful colors. I loved the Miss Fintastic book and what you said about your dad still being with you but in a different way. Do you have a preference for pencils the Polychromoas vs Prismacolors or vice versa or overall wax vs oil based, etc? You must have a lot of choices of pencils in your collection!
I can never go wrong with my Prismacolors. They’re my tried and true pencils. But I have to say that I do love using my Caran D’ache Luminance pencils quite a bit. Especially for skin tones!

@@BecksAndBooks I saw there was a shine over the Victorian bakery picture!
@@courtneylynn9258 I used a gold metallic gel pen on the word “Bakery” in the background. And I used a white posca pen to add a “shine” to the objects that are supposed to be metal or glass. As for everything else, I used my Prismacolors and a blending pencil to make all the colors blend seamlessly together. I honestly think the overall “shine” comes from the amazing paper quality mixed with the Prismacolors. Let me know if you have any more questions!😊
