The first time I got introduced to bass fishing I was 14 in Scouts thru my church. I’ve always been intrigued since. Now 61 and watching your build think time to get a boat.
I wish everybody didn't think that every Jon boat needs to be camo.
The pedestals would look good carpeted, more professional I think. Looks awesome though.
Love this series. It is giving me the inspiration to try a similar project for my grandkids and myself. We have a couple electric only fishing lakes close to us. Would absolutely love to win this if you give it away

Looking good TJ! I’m looking forward to seeing the electrical you add, maybe a fish finder as well. That transom bilge area makes me think of adding an enclosed box with a split lid for access across the width, just to keep everything back there protected and a tidier finished look. Some aluminum sheet would be easy enough to cut/bend/rivet and paint to match. Always love your diy projects/builds because learn a lot and it gives me lots of ideas to dream about. Plus it reminds me of doing similar stuff with my dad and grandfather.

For a hunting boat, I'd consider a shotgun holder to keep the guns secured while underway or up off the deck while still.

If it’s gonna be a hunting rig, what about adding a a Kolpin gun boot made for an ATV or some sort of gun rack. Add a way to quick disconnect a set of spider rigs for crappie fishing.
What about something to arch over the back to place a solar panel system
It looks great. Use rubber grommets on the deck for your trolling motor wires. It will look clean.😊

I love this build but there is a couple mistakes. Non treated wood is going to get destroyed fast cause if you get mud in the boat your more then likely to use water to wash it out. You could of applied a water barrier on the wood then glued then carpet. Then you could of took the peice that goes under the front deck. Bulid a frame. Have it slide in the bottom with magnets on the top of wood and frame. That way you can pull the whole thing out add big items. Now your limited to what fits in the hole. Just little ideas. Maybe when you do the seat pedestals add the camo and the black strip on the corners. It looks a lot better with the black edging
