- Oblitus Casa 2.0 is finally out. I had the ability to test, balance, help improve, and make hard modes for all these challenges. I believe they all came out rather well and are all interesting and worth playing.
Changes:
Jeff - Now you must hold to reboot cams, locked into holding the light for a few seconds, can't stand still too much throughout the challenge, and now want to try to see when he enters.
Slender - Now is in the freeroam tunnels, has page spawn combinations, has a new room, and Slender behaves differently to work with the new tunnels.
Smile Dog - You must now find him multiple times on the cameras when he is in them and has a effect similar to the one used in his creepypasta image.
Eyeless Jack - Can now chase and kill you and behaves differently to fit the new tunnels.
Hard Mode added for every challenge.
Hard Jeff - Rebooting cams is slower, Jeff starts out at max speed, and you cannot stand still as much.
Hard Slender - Now chases you when you aren't looking at him, more page spawns are added, and the flashlight must be cranked.
Hard Smile Dog - Erases slower and now either goes to 6 cams or 3 cams then the attic.
Hard Jack - The map is made bigger, Eyeless Jack moves faster, and you must take 10 pictures instead of 5.

The challenges are way harder than i tought but i didn't think they would be that hard!
I kinda like it but i think it's a bit too extreme night 6 and hard mode challenges, good for those who wants real challenges
I never tought the game's difficulty would raise that much in 2.0
I tought 2.0 was only going to be an exact code rewrite from the original casa and with the tunnels changed

for Jeff turn on cams 2 and 7 and always check them
For Slenderman just play naturally, if you see him turn away
for Smile Dog get atleast 3 pairs of arms and go row by row in tha cams, if not flash it on the attic
for Jack idk just use headphones

Strategy for Smile Dog hard mode? I feel like I'm too slow, no matter what I do, and as soon as I get rid of him, he almost immediately comes back onto the cameras.

reboot cameras 2 and 7 first in order to know which entrance he’ll go through. after you have these two rebooted you can reboot in any order you want
@@bradybales7067 and I developed a strategy:
Only reboot the cameras for 2, 3, or 4 seconds, then check cameras 2 and 7
If he's in camera 2, shine the right way
if he's not there, check cam 7, and shine the left way
rinse and repeat until all cameras are fixed

Here are some ideas to revitalize each of the character's stories if a game were to ever be made exclusively about them.
Jeff The Killer: Make his backstory incredibly multiple choice.
The backstory he claims to have is the ones that everyone knows, but what the evidence provides is something very different as the real, original Jeff would later be discovered to not be Jeff the Killer. So who's this Jeff? Well, the only confirmed elements about his past is that he's a delusional, psychotic someone who grew up obsessed with Jeff the Killer media. They might've either never had the mental help from anyone or they refused the help, potentially even killing multiple therapists and making attempts to kill their own parents, or they imagined making attempted and successful murders.
Whoever they are, it isn't known, heck, it's even possible they might've just shown up one day and all of their potential backstory is complete and utter bogus meant to have its victims sympathize not with a person but a poorly written demon that makes up poor excuses to be able to tether itself into its world's reality.
All of this could return him back to his original status as nothing more than a monster, a killer with no purpose, and could actively mock the notion of "sympathetic" or "likable" killers.
Smile Dog: Don't make it the main villain. Make it a side villain or a weapon, like a mercenary attack dog for creepypastas.
Slender Man: return him back to form and don't make him goofy. Trace back his origins and go from there.
Eyeless Jack: to my knowledge, there's not much to Eyeless Jack. He's kind of meant to be the ultimate monster that comes into your house and tries to steadily eat you.

smile dog's spawn in the cameras is completely random? or has some sort of pattern, i'm stuck on that challenge, i'm a bit slow and the lag doesn't help at all

learn the page spawns, the pages only spawn on the south and west side of halls and only mid hall, learn to use shift a lot.

4x4, normal mode has 3 page layouts (20 for hard), they spawn in the center of halls, and only on the south and west side of halls.
What do you mean sounth and west side of halls
They spawn in the middle of the hall on either the left or right side
