Most welcome! You got this. 🙌 Just focus on finishing and having fun. You’ll learn something new with every race. If you have any questions, please ask. I’ll answer as best I can ☺️
@ I’m signed up for 3, 1st is learning how it works from bib pickups to starting and transitioning. Then I’m going to start really pushing for performance. I’m running 4 times a week biking 3 and swimming 3. Weights two days, could use some tips to avoid over or under training. I’m in pretty good shape but want to be at my best, I have until may to be tuned in.
Dam she bring more stuff to a sprint then I'd bring to an Ironman and defiantly a Yank, Wetsuits are mandatory in most of Europe. My list for a sprint is quite simple Wetsuit, Trisuit, race belt , goggles, bike shoes (both bike and running) that's it. Sprint don't last long so don't bother with nutrition, good breakfast is more than enough to cover you for the distance
No bike helmet? 😉 Weather, personal preference, etc. have a lot to do with equipment list. Hot temp races in US mean salt/nutrition are important. If water is too warm, wetsuits are not allowed. Personally, I would never race without a hat/visor/sunglasses. But again, it’s all about where you are racing and personal preference. Thanks for the feedback, and good luck in your upcoming races! 🙌
Thank you. Planning on doing my 1st in may and am a little nervous. Lots of unknowns.
