    That MP360 is too much for the L4701. We've got the MP348 on the L3901 and it stalls it out all the time....same code, etc. We might get a L4701 to run the MP348 or at tractor with at least 40 PTO HP. Not sure what you try when it stalls, but disengage the PTO lever, pump the left pedal/clutch a few times. And lower the 3pt Hitch all the way before trying to restart takes all the stress off the engine. Restarts easier.

Hope your tractor will be up and running soon 🤞 I don't have a job where I can take my son with me but I grew up on a dairy farm and my brothers and I were with mom& dad and learned to stay out the way and how to pitch in when we could. Your wife did a great job helping and it's great you two work together. I dislike the fact dealerships are putting stuff like on equipment, it's all about the money though. I see on all of the YT channels, apparently the forestry mulchers are the "flavor of the week". Don't get me wrong, I'd love to have one, but from what I've seen, they're pretty violent on a tractor. Especially on the smaller ones. I've got a 73HP machine, and I don't know that I'd shell out the cash for one and beat the heck out of my tractor with it. To me, not all implements are right for a tractor, even if the manufacturers of the implements say that they are.

    • @EverythingElliott

      It certainly isn’t easy on the tractor. No doubt about that.

    • @IndependenceIron
      @IndependenceIron วันที่ผ่านมา

      That mulcher seems like way too much for that tractor or that tractor was down on power. Seems like none of those trees should have stalled a 40+hp tractor. I have taken those sized trees with a 25hp and 5ft bush hog with relative ease. Its hard to beat a good bush hog. And im not talking about the new china farm store garbage. Im talking about the older ones that came with 100hp gear boxes on 4 and 5ft cutters.
