Wednesday night on ABC: "The Rookies" 8PM; "SWAT" 9PM; "Starsky and Hutch" 10 PM. I just found a T.J. figure from LJN on the'Bay and still have the long rifle I got in 1975, couldn't have him w/just a M-16.🙃
If you want a real gem, get the SHOUT! factory DVD of second season. They were on location almost every episode and the one episode that never aired: "Officer Luca, You're Dead." Hands down one of the best episodes.
I watched S.W.A.T & Emergency as a child. I always wanted to be a firefighter even before Emergency was on TV. I have an autographed photo from Steve Forrest I loved to watch him on S.W.A.T.

I actually haven't seen the seventies SWAT. I have watched the new one occasionally. I like it but I usually fall asleep before it starts. 😂 Thank you my friend 😊
I vaguely remember this series. I do remember that we had to play the theme song at a school concert (I believe during this exact time period) and we were so bad that the music teacher had to go hi-tech and play his synthesizer to drown us out.
when SWAT originally aired. I thought I remembered it as corny. It's on Tubi right now (in 2024'). I was wrong. The show is Great. Im really shocked how serious the issues are on the show. And for TV its very Gritty. So, everyone especially 70s Kids, go on Tubi and watch this excellent show..."

Looking at Swat right now on Roku TV, I remember this show as a kid hard to believe it only lasted 2 seasons because it's a great show.
I will be 60 in 2 days. Still have the theme song on a 45. Have seen every episode of this show at least twice.
I have both seasons of S.W.A.T. and watch it frequently. It was a great show.

Steve Forest pretend to be Jock then he reveals to Miss Ellie that he lied during the season after the dream season of Dallas
Dallas was a good TV show until the dream season came along.
I always thought Robert Urich's best role was in Lonesome Dove
I enjoyed Robert Urich on the TV show, Vega$.
Spooner
This was a fabulous series. I think politics played a role in its demise.
ABC network cancelled the show because the viewers thought the show was too violent.
@@GeminiladyJackson-xq6hc Gosh, when you see what they show on television now...
@@elaineteeter9485The original version was better than the new version. 70's television was the best.
Thank you !
Good job😊
TotAlly loved this show❤
They didn't mention Susan Dey in the Partridge Family for a long time
You estaba muy, pero muy enamorada de Mark Shera
I always wondered what happened to Susan Dey. We're getting old.
