I'm very glad you Hemi are using Cubase & show us excellent tutorial with your ideas & arrangements with only Cubase internal plugins. Thanks

Based in the title I was expecting something else (this isn't techno), but I enjoyed it nonetheless! Looking forward to the future episodes ❤

Really cool tutorial, thanks! Retrologue is one of my most favorite quick go-to synths in cubase! Can you do a tutorial on how to make patches and organize them in a custom library using the media manager? I seem to have difficulties with that...especially editing the tags. There seems to be a bug in C12 (even earlier) preventing me to release a proper preset library...imagine that 😳

We don´t need Abelton Live for EDM techno dance music. Cubase is absolutely great for this style too!

I added an halion instrument and routed it to master output.. and there was a latency of about half a second. Its only in this projekt the interface is okay.. the midi input is immediate but the signal in the mixer is delayed. Does anyone know whats the problem here? Thanks

Aside from all kind of nice sayings and comments, creating midi basslines, melodies and chords takes a huge amount of time comparing to FL Studio. Now, some of hardcore Cubase fans may get offended and uncomfortable, but it's true.
Remember, it's not important to say Cubase can do this or that like any other DAW. it's about HOW can you achieve your results. Cubase is slow, time consuming and has annoying playback and scrolling options when it come to MIDI edit. you can save like 2 or 3 times more time creating and editing MIDI notes in FL Studio.
As a hobbyist , I do not have any bias over any DAWs. That's why I'm a hobbyst! I love to try softwares and explore them. In EDM area, Cubase is so much time consuming to consider.

I used FL Studio for years before getting Studio One. Even though it's true that you can lay down notes really fast in FL's piano roll, its other MIDI features are really poorly implemented, annoying to use, and a quite cryptic (as with a lot of things in FL Studio). Studio One and Cubase may not be as fast but they are much more deeper and versatile when dealing with MIDI.
