This food is not good for iftar iftar should be light and healthy Asians are very unhealthy in iftar all fried heavy food nothing light iftar should be cereal fruit fresh juice with no sugar dates plain yogurt a light supper like egg salad pittas feta cheese and baked chicken or fish with loads of water and fresh tea.
@hubbi hayii the healthiest Muslims are the Turks and central Asians also some Arab countries but most south east Asian and African Muslims eat mainly carbs and fat loaded foods this in ramadan can cause illness if eaten daily. I start my iftar with dates water a fruit salad with grapes apples bananas an avocado shake or mango smoothie and green tea. For supper I'll have chapatis with a beef or chicken stew with no spices or Arab style fuul with eggs and cheese. For suhoor I usually have cereals and wholegrain warm bread with peanut butter and honey. What is your choice for iftar and suhoor if you dont mind me asking.
