It is crazy how our small group of islands has such magical landscapes! Thanks for taking us all along . Big drive to Scotland mind but having kids along breaks it up though😂😊👍

Yeah I arrived and got setup just in time, while I was sat making my food three different people turned up to camp on the island. Wish I could go out midweek but it's tricky with work.
@@TheWalkingKev hahaha yeah! I chatted with one of them who ended up camping next to a tarn further round but no idea where the other 2 ended up 😂. Wish I had somewhere local to camp but nearest is about hour and a half away really, so would have to be up super early to get back in time for work 😭

Great video Stuart, lovely place. My pet hate, is people being so disrespectful and scorching the earth, when there is no need to. If you go onto the mountains, wear the right gear and you stay warm, it is as simple as that!

Lovely spot isn't it. Been that way a few times going to the Clogwen Person scramble. There's a smaller tarn just up on the right. And yes. Your right about the fires. I often get people argue it's fine on the FB groups. It's not 😊.... Loved the drone shots 👌

Ahhhh, I've had that spot marked out for a while. I'm always concerned it might be a tad busy. Did you go on a weekday? So annoying people are hacking at that lovely tree and making campfires there. What is wrong with people? Idiots! And mate...schoolboy error...no beers. 😫 I think I'd just go home. 🤣 I've just got myself an alcohol stove, am looking forward to using it. Great camp mate. 👍
I went on a Saturday but after I got pitched up others arrived planning to camp on the island, so I was pretty lucky to get on it. I think a weekday would be best really. Thanks for watching mate ☺️

Have a ire by all means (but use dead wood rather than hacking at the tree!) but just clean up afterwards, it's not hard is it? Some people man. I am looking at one of those stoves you use (looks similar to the xboil but much cheaper) i looked on the Speedster website bit couldn't work out which one it was as there seems to be a few. Any chance you can link to it here please? Cheers.

Yes I pretty much never use gas stoves anymore, prefer the quietness and the more relaxed cooking with an alcohol burner. Let me know how you get on 😀
