You realise that the Christian Old Testament was translated from old representative copies of the Tanakh at the time. Not all Tanakhs were the same, though similar. However, they have continued to be edited to deliberately not agree with the Christian Old Testament. So, you have to be careful about making comparisons with later Tanakhs. The Leningrad Codex was made in Cairo in AD 1008 (or possibly 1009). Biblical scholars agree that the first five books of the Hebrew Bible were translated from Biblical Hebrew into Koine Greek by Jews living in the Ptolemaic Kingdom, probably in the early or middle part of the third century BCE.[8] The remaining books were presumably translated in the 2nd century BCE So, the Septuagint predates the Leningrad Codex by some 1200 years & doesn't have the anti-Christian agenda.
you did not listened to explanation at all… ‘You realize ‘ that at 3rd century bce we have variants of Tanakh ( can even say multiple tanakhs) that were circulating and used by various communities- as shown by Dead Sea scrolls - and by 1 century ce - appears in the circulation and we have it Exactly the same consonant text as in this codex Do you need explanation about what is the meaning of the consonant text for Hebrew Bible ? From which of variants of tanakh Septuagint is translated makes a huge impact on what Christian church believes in :) Variants are not of extreme importance- like Moses is always Moses ) but they are present Even Until today meaning of many words of Hebrew text is disputed
Fascinating! I was priviledged to meet Jesus Christ as the King of Heaven when sick with Covid Pneumonia (I had an NDE and afterwards found myself floating above my body before returning) so all of this is very interesting to me. Jesus and many souls walked me back because he wanted me to share the good news. I love learning all about the history through the bible. When I arrived there Jesus sits on the throne and he is full of love and light. I fell at his feet. He is amazing. Jesus loves us so much! He can't wait for us to be with him. He told me he is building things that we can never imagine for us!
According to Vatican textual analysts, the author of the Dead Sea's Isaiah Scroll preserved the different letter formation of two source documents (one thought to be Sadducee, the other Essene). Has the LC Isaiah been analysed this way?
In summary, the answer is no. The LC was written significantly later than the Dead Sea Isaiah Scrolls (of which there are more than one). By that time, the cults referred to, had already ceased to exist. The hypothesis you mentioned is questionable and there are many scholars holding different opinions.
@@KEDEMChannel All four of the sects are represented in the Dead Sea collection: if they were regarded as "cults" (in the pejorative sense) it seems unlikely anyone would preserve them together.
Knowing Rome two only manuscripts(vaticanus and sinaiticus) with alexandrian writings are full of corrections and problems, I won't be sure about Rome expertise and good intentions.....
@@hectorhernandez215 As Zadok anointed Solomon so only an Heir of Zadok could declare "this is Cyrus my anointed" [Is45v1] The preservation of the variant letter formations reinforces what was already understood: Essenes and Sadducee worked together to create doctrine they (and generations to come) could agree on.
Beautiful description of how humans superintended the transmission of the TANAKH. Somewhere in the Talmud, it is said that Moses brought scrolls that he had received up with him on Mt. Sinai..
Why is the Masoretic text the only text that reduces the ages of Noas sons by one hundred years each. The Septuigent, the Pentituch and Josephus all give each son of Noah one hundred more years. Some Jewish tradition say that Shem was Malkesidec by using the reduced number of years. Malkesidec has no parents, year of birth or death and is mentioned in every Catholic Mass.
The accuracy is stunning. Considering Chaucer and Shakespeare and their contempories in England couldnt even manage to spell their own names the same way each time.

This is a very interesting and explanatory insight into the Leningrad Codex. But what is important to know that the Codex is a copy of the Hebrew texts going back to the 6th-7th century, to the time of King Josiah. At the time of King Josiah, the Hebrew religious beliefs and texts were rewritten and changed to bring in the theology of monotheism. Prior to this the Hebrew historical theology was one of polytheism. The purpose of this redaction, that is to say a rewrite of history, was to give the King the status of being God appointed and then given power beyond what was just governmental. Also it set the priesthood a power of being the only way to connect with God. It organized this religious system as being the only place that is Jerusalem's Temple the only location for the true worship of Yahweh and the only place for the collection of ties to be given. This new Law gave both the Priests and King complete control of all the wealth. In so doing this rewriting what is called today as the Redaction, it removed all the history of the Hebrew religious beliefs and culture prior to the Redaction. This Redaction changed words, added verse that were not originally there and redefined textual meanings to make Yahweh as the only God who was always there and the creator of the universe. This was not at all what was the true history teachings of the Ancient Hebrews. The ancient Hebrew texts were in fact a rewriting of the ancient Mesopotamian stories from Sumerian, Babylonian and Assyrian religious beliefs. In the past 150 years and especially the last 70 years we have excavated thousands and thousands of cuneiform tablets from these areas that tell of stories and religious functions and beliefs that are the same as stories we find in the Hebrew Bible while being over a thousand years before the stories found in the present Hebrew Bible. For example, compare the flood story in Genesis with the Epic of Gilgamesh, which was written a thousand or so years before Genesis. Compare the creation stories as well. Then if you compare the creation stories of the indigenous peoples around the world you will find these very ancient stories align with the ancient Mesopotamian stories. These all were not stories of monotheism, they tell of the ancient gods which where in charge of each of these ancient civilizations and how these gods where worshiped. The purpose of the redaction was to wipe these stories and histories out, so to bring in monotheism into belief for the purpose of control and wealth for the Kings and High Priests. This redaction is the belief that is believed and taught to this day. For the real history to be known would be the down fall of what is known as organized religion we know of today. That is why scholars and academia don't talk about history prior to the redaction. This can be learned with just a little research into religious history around the world prior to the 6th-7th century B.C. Most will not look because it will show that what we have been told as our religious beliefs are a man made story fill of man's dogma represented to be the word of God. Most don't have the strength to seek this truth out. I hope some of the readers will have the will and fortitude to journey down this path of investigation.

If the tradition were correct then Christ wouldn't have needed to put in an appearance to put us back on the main track. The Masoreets made a mistake in inserting the vowels, it fixed one interpretation, rather than forcing the reader to really think about what the text really meant.
