@@nzhiphop1 yeah totally agreed, especially on deer hunter it can get uncomfortable. In my opinion Stoupe puts together a total masterpiece on that record. Every instrumental is amazing and both rappers were at their best on that one.
also as for steroids concept, the concept is mostly about mc ride dissecting what makes him who he is and why he acts the way he is, each parts lyrics goes deeper into this until the climax of the final song where he seems to embrace absurdity especially with the repeatment of the phrase "and i move with it"

For me Tcd changed Hiphop forever and for the better, the sampling is ahead of its time, the skits are the best ive ever heard in an album, the theme of the album is great, the structure and pacing of the album is perfect. The final act is deep and contains arguably Kanye's best lyrical content. It's the most consistent based on the songs on it compared to his other songs as well imo

Violent by Design is way too underrated
@@novasiberflash8389 Agreed and I'm glad you've got love for it. I can definitely see how the homophobic and anti-religious lyrics could be a turn-off for some I'm not sure if many Hip Hop albums have ever been and well produced while flowing together so smoothly.
@@nzhiphop1 yeah totally agreed, especially on deer hunter it can get uncomfortable. In my opinion Stoupe puts together a total masterpiece on that record. Every instrumental is amazing and both rappers were at their best on that one.
I was a bit suprised to see Lil Pumps new project “No Name” at number one Abe Quite frankly I didn’t even know he dropped
Rodeo CRIMINALLY underrated on this list.
Fr like what r half these albums
@Jackson I agree. People try so hard to be different w their rap takes. Like he put WLR 6 bruh. What r ur thoughts on WLR?

How are people upset that Illmatic is so “low” like it’s still top 50 rap of all time that’s impressive
ye it’s still far too high
Its just obvious that this dude doesnt really know what he is talking about. I mean at long last asap 10 spots higher is plain stupid
Its like saying that the new billie eilish is better than thriller by mj
@@yanfraanje1294 that’s a true statement as well 💀
@Andre9832 He loves hip-hop, if he didn't he wouldn't have a youtube and tiktok account dedicated to hip-hop related content
my boy where do you get your vinyls
u should do ur top 20 non hip-hop albums
He has little knowledge of other genres so it’ll just be a bunch of rock albums and then blonde at number 1 lmao
@@puretrenching2914 we just gotta wait n see if he makes one lol

top 3 is just gonna be E, IGOR, and Blonde
ILLMATIC AT WHAT!?
😂
Illmatic at 45 instantly lost credit
also as for steroids concept, the concept is mostly about mc ride dissecting what makes him who he is and why he acts the way he is, each parts lyrics goes deeper into this until the climax of the final song where he seems to embrace absurdity especially with the repeatment of the phrase "and i move with it"
there was an instagram thread going deeper into this but it got deleted lol
abes comment section is turning into fantanos
ahh i was waiting for this video. i don’t disagree with anything on this list. W video
People fail to realize how important playboi carti starting to become
People deny this and then you ask them about Ken Carson and they never even heard of him 😂
Ken needs to step it up ..
Was a little confused when you placed “folklore” by Taylor Swift in the no.1 spot but still a pretty good list.
man is thanking god that dislike button is turned off…
Literally this is one of worst top 50s I’ve ever seen and I know it’s objective but semetary even being on the list completely throws that out the window
@@colin2316 Illmatic at 45 lmao
11:34 what’s vancamp or whatever abe said?
bandcamp
To me MBDTF wipes TCD as well as WLR but fair enough
Edit: To be fair MBDTF wipes everything to me, it’s my favorite album of all time
Wlr doesn’t even belong on the list let alone #6
@@colin2316 couldn’t agree more
Tcd wipes mbdtf
@@mvttz what does TCD do better? Absolutely nothing. MBDTF does everything better
@@coastercraziness You didn't specify anything.
Super interesting list but a few missed albums off the top of my head, ready to die, low end theory, donuts, any denzel curry album, igor, tupac, rakim, the roots
Change title to " "My" top 50 hip-hop albums of all time"
Exactly! He goes on about how “music isn’t objective it’s subjective” and yet he goes on with the list as if his opinions are definitive saying stuff like “of all time” and the whole “yes illmatic is not the greatest hip hop album of all time” making that type of statement even though he just got through saying music was subjective???he would’ve avoided so much red flag if he just put in the title “My” top 50 list.
Weird for me not seeing any Tyler here, thought maybe wolf or bastard would get a shout
If igor was HH it would be top 25
Cmiygl
@@mvttz Wold and Bastard aren't even top 3 Tyler and Igor would be like top 20 if it was hip hop.
So you think Whole Lotta Red is better than Dark Twisted Fantasy? That's just objectively wrong.
such a good list, massive W for thot breaker, jeffery, gluee and honestly everything else
Do you even know who lil Wayne is
I was hoping TPAB was your #1 after I didn’t see it for the last 49, good list tho overall
You cant make a whiter list
13:24 much respect, tell em! it’s pretty annoying when people say “oh so ___ is higher than ___!! 😡” but it doesn’t mean they dislike the other album, it just means they have a certain liking to one album over another. they act like they don’t have an unpopular opinion (and if they don’t, that’s pretty sad). 😐
