Quitting your job to focus on your business is a great move, many top successful people who built great companies and businesses in the world today actually followed that path. However, it is important to make such decisions out of personal convinctions with a proper plan and not out of "peer pressure" or "advice" from just anybody. It doesn't matter whether you're quitting the job for a prematured business or a fully grown business, being convinced personally by knowing yourself and thr plans you can execute is very key. Business world and entrepreneurship is not just for anybody, it's for people who have decided personally. The principles in those books you mentioned can actually be applied in Nigeria, very well; but even in those books, the authors adviced that people should not just quit their job because they heard people quitting jobs and going to do business, but they should quit their jobs for their business only when they are sure of the decision, they've built themselves to a person who has capacity to drive the business and they have good plans with the business.

Thank Ebuka, “Quitting From a place of Personal convictions, not out of peer pressure or advice from just anybody” that’s the word. Before you can make that decision from personal convictions, it means you’re ready and you’ve probably built your side hustle to an extent.
You will agree with me that some people quit their jobs from a place of “I’m too big to work under someone” and they end up frustrated because they can’t even handle the pressure and anxiety that comes with being a young entrepreneur.
Anyone who quits their job because they "feel too big to work under someone" is not even ready for business, because they may also "feel too big" to submit to a mentor that would help guide them build a business
