That Princeton keeps sounding more and more like 4501 every time I hear it. I’m beginning to think it’s getting the Rebel Railroad southern 3 chime treatment of being modified until it sounds like 4501’s whistle.

I’m going up there on Wednesday of this week. I wonder what happened to the old Rebel Railroad SR 3 chime whistle? It’s been a while since I’ve seen it being used. It’s still good to hear a Southern 3-chime, even if it’s just the Princeton.

70 Will Not Get A New Bell For Awhile.

I don’t believe that 70 will get a new bell. The only reason 192 got a new bell is because they used to ring the old one so hard that it cracked. Unless 70’s bell cracks, they’ll probably not replace it.
