Incredible video!! Man I love this series so much, watching it when I was little, it just makes me happy looking at all these cool different steam locomotives
I got to see both big boy and 2816 in the same year. Both incredible experiences especially seeing big boy for the first time. great video as always keep up the good work!
My favorite locomotive from this video was definitely White Pass and Yukon No. 73 because it sounds so good, it looks so good in the terrain it runs in, and it doesn’t usually run to often. So Mike great job at filming 73 cause it barely runs during the year. Also awesome video. ❤️👏😎
I got to be engineer/fireman in some of these shots and I was really looking forward to somebody that documented the engine running, especially up on the Canadian side.
my favtoie part is 6:11 cuz me 2816 fan and i love your steam galore series ive been watching you since i was 4 years old thanks for inspiring me! to become a railfan and make my own youtube channel!
Wow, I've been here for a while watching great content for years, During the peaks, wow, time flies, i remember the nogalstic times of this channel and he keeps going Wow mike your successful and i bet you will never stop
Thank you so much for this series! We watch at least one of these every day with our toddler. He even knows which ones are his favorites and will request them!
Another great steam trains galore video! I look forward to seeing more steam train videos from you and to see more new steam locomotives on your channel. Also, what is the intro song suppose to be? Something railroad related?
i love the steam trains galore series! keep it going CoasterFan2105!!! my fav parts were 2816 and the white pass locomotives. 2816 is my ALL TIME favorite locomotive and i love when it flies by going super fast. oh and the huckleberry railroad i LOVE the Huckleberry railroad. you think you can do a full video on it?
We would appreciate your support the Sera Northern Railway in Fillmore CA and getting the steam train 14 witch I saw in steam trains galore, Maybe when your in the area you could interview the new owner to discuss the Future plans for the Railroad and maybe make a video on it. Thanks Joseph Novak Port Hueneme CA
Thanks Mike , Congratulations on your recent success on 1M subs also we enjoy our local Oxnard Railroad the Railroad That covers 12 square miles of track it carries thousands of cars and bananas from the Port of Hueneme and distributes them across the USA connecting with Union Pacific. The most impressive thing we’ve seen the Railroad do is when they deliver tanks and military vehicles especially in the length of train cars Thanks again Joseph Novak
For the next steam trains galore. I suggest you film the following locomotives - Black River & western 60 - Reading and northen 2102 - Western Maryland 1309 - Grand Canyon Railway 29 & 4960 - New Hope and Iviland 40. - Río Grande Railroad 463 - Mccloud River Railroad 18. - Cumbres and Toltec scenic rr. 489, 487, 488, 484.
@ You were one of my first favorite TH-camrs, my interest in trains has wained in the past few years but I still will occasionally watch one of your videos

Beautiful video of these Steam Locomotives. So far I only saw four operating Steam Locomotives. Those were Canadian Pacific 2816, Redwood Valley Railway #11 “Sequoia”, Norfolk & Western 475, and Yosemite Mountain Sugar Pine Railroad Shay #10. I don’t know about you, though.
We’ve ridden behind an SP 2-8-2 from Austin into the Texas Hill Country. The Cumbres & Toltec. Durango & Silverton. And behind a CPR Pacific out of Scranton. Seen the UP Challenger in Austin, and followed the Big Boy in Eastern Colorado. Steam engines are truly amazing engineering. If only they all had Elesco feedwater heaters! 🤣
Not from what I've seen. It's just an inspection like at other US-Canada border crossings. I may talk more about it in a future video about the White Pass and Yukon.
It does sound a lot like a Reading 6 chime. I heard that it's a Nathan 6 chime off one of the K-28's that went to the WP&Y in the 1940s, but I'm not sure.
Well the reading 2102 has the same sound to it so it probably is a reading 6 chime because a Nathan steel war 6 chime has like a little deeper sound but it’s louder than the reading 6 chime so it’s a reading 6 chime
The steam trains galore series absolutely makes my kiddo's life better. Thank you so much!
You're welcome! Thank you for watching!
Gotta love the 73! Awesome job Mike!
Thank you! It's a really neat locomotive!
