Wow definitely worth a look. Unfortunately it fails to import my Fuji raw files from the files app and just hangs. Will try canon raw later but kind of a deal breaker if it can read all raw files. Thanks for the awesome video.
Search “Apple digital camera raw iOS 17” for the list of supported raw formats. Apple usually supports only uncompressed Fuji raw files, and takes their sweet time in updating their raw support for newer cameras. This will be the case for any app that relies on Apple’s raw support database instead of their own.
I upgraded to the 13 inch M4 and I like it a lot. I don't think of it as a main machine, or laptop replacement as much as supplemental device or backup in case the computer dies. Like you, I'd rather edit in the studio on a big monitor, so mostly I'll use it for sneak peaks or sometimes a quick social media post. I have now doubts however that I could press it into service to do much more. Final Cut works well on it, and I'm not sure that making a rough cut is even faster. You could do many assignments/projects with just the iPad Pro, iPhone, and a couple external mics start to finish at a professional level. Doesn't mean I'm ready to give up the "big stuff", but having options is always good for everyone.
Thanks Leigh. You omitted mention of masks. I love and use Darkrrom+ and Snapseed, the former more exclusively. Love luminosity mask combined with processing sliders so does AI remove their need or will probably be included in future versions? Thanks for sharing.
I tried it on IPAD and prefer the laptop. I need the portability so trying ain. I was looking for more detailed editing examples since the interface is different.
I love the fact that the folks at Luminar made a completely different interface although it’s rather very limited. I don’t think it will work on RAW images. Could be wrong but …..
Do i have to buy luminar mobile separately or I get it with luminar neo lifetime lisence? And please tell me the deference between present and mood
Hi maam.. Do you have tutorial for LR editing?
I like Luminar Mobile since it can handle RAW. Now for me a function like in LR for whites and blacks would be useful

Interesting. I just confirmed the same issue with a RAW file from my Fujifilm X100V. I'll talk to my Skylum contact!

If you had to choose one editor for the iPad, would you choose pixel Mater Pro or Luminar
I meant to say photo mator vs Luminar for ipad
Great video can you batch process?
I have recently moved from Lightroom to Luminar Neo and will deffo get the iPad app as well.

Yes, the AI features do the masking for you. Alternatively, you have the addition of masking in Luminar Neo on the computer.

It doesn’t do iPhone raw so very limited
You can - I edited an iPhone RAW image! :)
No idea what the Luminar Mobile hardware requirements are, but I can tell you that Sky Ai doesn't work on my 10.5" iPad Pro.
Interesting. I haven't had an issue with it.
Sky replacement does not reflect in water. Reported to support 6 weeks ago with no results. Support is UNDERWHELMING.
Only does jpegs, so not for me. 😢
You can edit RAW files - most of the photos I edited in this video were RAW! :)
As a professional are you genuinely not going to comment on the awful halo effect when using sky replacement?
