    What happens if the cables don’t have the same cross-section?

    This is great, but I it could be even better if it included the UKU extension box too, since a lot of buyers will be needing help with that and the print instructions are a bit overly simplistic.

    Do you have to have a door sensor installed for the Wi-Fi version to work?

    Can both of the control unit be placed outside of the sauna open to the elements?

    • @huumsauna
      @huumsauna  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, both of these can be placed outside of the sauna, but we do recommend making a small shelter for the main module :)

    Hello, is the door sensor necessary to install for the Huum to function? Can it be omitted? The temp sensor inside would be installed.

    • @huumsauna
      @huumsauna  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello! The door sensor is one of the safety precautions that must be mounted. Note that the door sensor must be installed as shown in the manual.

    I’ve emailed the company looking for an answer and no reply. Is the UKU temp control functional in an outdoor setting that gets rain

    Why on God's green earth would you have a sauna with a glass shower door and a 3" airflow gap?

    • @huumsauna
      @huumsauna  2 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      From an energy consumption point of view, yes, a glass door is not optimal. Glass door though can be an aesthetic thing. Also it gives some level of safety, as you can see through it and be aware if people on the other side of the door are OK.
      If the sauna has well-designed ventilation, then the air gap is not needed, but most of the saunas lack ventilation. As they say, you can't have too much fresh air in the sauna. Without enough fresh air, you will get a dizzy head and the sauna session is not as pleasant as it could be.
      We wrote a blog post about ventilation: huum.eu/blog/guides/ventilation/
