People sometimes forget how hard life in japan is especially if your like someone who doesnt have a special talent or skill and educ background....... Good thing being a content creator was their passion after all theyre otakus lol... Even a certain vtuber sensei said that being a vtuber is so great especially for them since they do not do much but can earn a lot (only if ur famous) much more if indie imo

My guess is his parents probably don't stay nearby, since a lot of people move to big cities to work or study, and he was trying to find a job or some opportunity in the city and don't want to move back with his parents
