Also I love Byron at the beginning. Good choice. BTW The way I came across this video is because my band and I just produced a song a few weeks ago called "Santa Fe, New Mexico", that has nothing to do with Santa Fe, other than the fact that it's a good place for lying low. I don't know if it is, though, but it certainly seems like a really cool place to come visit and hang out. BTW Please check out our song if you can. Just go the sleeping tiger icon and it will bring you right to it. We're a new band in Chicago, all our stuff is original, but this new version of this Santa Fe song may be my personal favorite. Thanks!
The Holly Hock flower you showed reminded me of the beautiful flowers my Dad James Alford would plant at his Oasis in Carson. Now 16 years since He's been gone only Amazing Memories remain. Miss You DAD❤️🇺🇲
I was born and raised in southern New Mexico. Carlsbad to be exact. Never been up north though. I'm in Phoenix now and your video makes me miss New Mexico with a passion. Beautiful video. Thanks for sharing.
Lived in Taos for 3 years . Thinking of moving back there. And yes, have traveled solo most of my life. Did all 48 contiguous states solo years ago. Once in a lifetime experience. "What the moral? Who rides may read. When the night is thick and the tracks are blind A friend at a pinch is a friend, indeed, But a fool to wait for the laggard behind. Down to Gehenna or up to the Throne, He travels the fastest who travels alone" -- Rudyard Kipling. The Winners

The thing about Taos that would drive a lot of people crazy is that this slow, contemplative new age music is playing everywhere you go.
