Lindsey, I so admire your determination on that sink! I certainly would have given up. Lol. It was so nice seeing all the new faucets. You have done a wonderful job picking out era appropriate fixtures. If I ever redo my home, I want you to decorate it. 😊❤
Randy is truly a Godsend. Watching things start to really flow and come together is so much more calming and enjoyable, watching everything progress. I'm really happy to see your hearts heal and the joy come back to you both. You and Jim had so many of us heartfelt and concerned. Prayers have been answered and you all have an angel working with you. That wonderful huge sink looks absolutely fabulous. The color is perfect. Fantastic job! Love your choices on bling, tiles and colors.
Randy appears to be a good contractor and easy to work with. I couldn’t be happier for you two, you’ve been through hell with this project and it’s good to see it moving along so well. Good job on the sink Lindsay, that was a lot of work. I’m excited to see it installed.
Randy is a gem! It's so good to be (almost) on the other side of that debacle. I'm glad you all stuck with us while we were struggling. Thanks for being here!
Hold the phone. Are we talking about and INSTALLING hardware and fittings!? Never thought we'd get here. Seeing the handles for the steam shower get put in place was inspiring. So charming, too. I felt your pain, too, with the sink rust removal. Was appropriate that I was editing the restoration of the dressers my great-grandfather built (shameless plug) while watching this video, because I remembered all the pain - mixed with the great knowledge and insight - I went through bringing them back to their former glory. You inspire us all.
Super job on the sink Lindsey. You have the determination of a bulldog. Randy is a gem, and so is Mr. Jim. Love watching you guys. It's great to know the Grand Lady is in such loving hands. CRACK ON!!!
Lindsey as always watching for those updates! Just love your editing techniques! Down the road a piece from start to finish in one grand editing extravaganza!!
It used to be common (back in ye olden days) when connecting Iron sewer pipes together, that they'd pack a seam with rope (or something similar), pack it and then melt lead into it to seal it.
Very informative. You’re hilarious 😂 and such a “Blingy” bright soul!😁 ✨ 1st video I found of yours searching how to remove rust from cast iron (Wood stove). Subscribed!
I felt your pain when it came to getting all that rust off the sink. It does look wonderful though and your perseverance paid off even though, as you stated, it would have been easier, cheaper, and less time consuming to pay a professional to do it. Won't tell you that they would have had it done in a day 😉

Thanks you so much that is so kind of you! 😊

Awwww!! So kind!! Thank you for being here!! I can't wait to show her to everyone when she's done.
Good work on the sink. You invested your time well and can be proud of it when it is installed. Randy is really helping to get the job done.

Oh! I’m surprised you’re doing spray foam. Well, I’m sure you’ve done your research. Randy is a fun addition to the show.
Excellent work on the sink! The new faucets that you two picked out will bring a glimmer to the Grand Lady! Thank you for sharing.
Glad you won with the sink! Lindsey one more point. 😊

Interesting! Thanks for that little nugget of knowledge.
Sooo determined…as as usual you won!

Hahahaha... a day huh.. Of course!
If you were starting all over with the sink, would you skip the naval jelly, wire brush, sandblasting and just use two coats of vinegar?
🙌 awesome!
🙌 back atcha!
How high are the ceilings on the 2nd floor?
8.5 to 9 feet.... or so. Why do you ask? 😀
