Wow, I was listening to Kenny when Ledbetter Heights came out around 95. He was 18 or 19 then. Dejavoodoo and Blue on Black are 2 of my favorites. But I never heard this song until today. Yeah, don't know how I missed it. What a great country song. This is a side of him I never saw or heard and its very cool. Such a great tune. Still discovering KWS in 2024.

I live an hour from his hometown of Shreveport. When I first heard him I thought someone had released SRV basement tapes then found out it was snot-nosed kid with both arms on fire. A few years later I went with some friends to a Louisiana Hayride show at the historic Municipal Auditorium and that kid was the headliner. The gospel and country fans cleared out a bit and I thought, What the hell? Kenny leaped onto the stage and his guitar roared, WAAAAAAHHHH! and all the blues fans started yelling. When he'd finished his solo number everyone else came out and, sumbitch, there's Double Trouble. When I wasn't looking at them, I was looking at KWS. The rest of the time I was admiring Noah Hunt. It was a memorable evening

My favorite song of all time, I get chills every time I hear it! Just perfect! I live in Shreveport, LA and have been following KWS since he was a teenager. He just keeps growing as an artist and as a human being. Saw him last month at the Strand Theater, his beautiful family was there any big Ken mc’d. So it was a perfect show as always. He and the band are so good, they should be headlining at sold out stadiums, but not everyone recognizes great talent as well as others. 🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸
