My son loved Zakk Wylde. He was a gifted guitarist and passed away in May 2021. I got to know Zakk going through his music and memorabilia. My son (Tennessee) went to a concert in Asheville in a wheelchair in the last years of his life and Zakk took the time to take a photo with him. One of his prize possessions. Zakk is an incredible musician, a great poet and songwriter, and an amazing man with a heart as big as his talent. This song is just one amazing example!! I love you Zakk.....

I was struggling with addiction and was listening to this. When he said " You can welcome me in, I will not walk through that door. I may be blind but I'll find my way". That meant something. Drugs will always be there.. and they'll welcome you in for sure. You gotta be strong enough to say I can control myself and follow a different path instead of walking towards them. Hope that helps someone like it did me.

I laid the love of my life to rest last week. Her parents asked if I wanted a song played that I had introduced her to. I played Lost Prayer at her funeral there was not a dry eye in the place because she was loved and will be missed but this song showed everyone the love we had. Thank you for writing it and making it the masterpiece it is. Oh and please bring BLS back to Halifax NS the first beer is on me

I was in Milwaukee in August for the Book of Shadows II tour and he came up to the VIP area and stood right next to me and shred like there was no tomorrow. It was the most metal moment of my life
I got to act as a security guard on that tour for his stop in Pittsburgh. Did the shred on Throwing it all away right next to me.

I have found the light Mr. Wild and you good sir were part of my journey that took me here. After terrible things were done to one of my kids that made the local paper I was ready to give up. Working long nights that had me walking miles with street cleaning company I used to play this song on repeat mad at God. Miracles later sir I must say God is real. I do not doubt the unbelievers as they have not seen what I have . God is not a cop God is Love. It’s us that’s messed up.. Heck the church is messed up. But God good sir knows your name and knows you know his. God is Love.

I'm fighting addiction while being unemployed for two years after completing college and Zack Wilde's songs are always a pat in the back like the father I never had saying, "It's gonna be okay son". My blood family dont have anything to do with me, have not heard from them in months. It's been over a Year since J.D. and I Spoke, and I may be "Blind" but I find MY Way. Dont need anyone but my wife, kid and my Father in Law. I'm a U.S. Army Veteran, so I keep on, keepin on.. I know others have it Worse than me.

Same fate as Metallica, the demons wrote the Music and Fueled the Passion 🤟 so much light can be brought from the Dark if the Host can Handle the Burden. Always a Fan either way.

My son's Mother who passed 3 years ago due to drug addiction would have loved this song. Seeing our son grow into a wonderful soul is something i wish you could have been here for. I want your soul to be at peace. I sure do need a guardian angel.
