Vedas are not religious texts at all. They have everything with a small part dedicated to religious activities.

They are theological in nature to some extent, in RigVeda, the hymns praise elemental forces.

Eastern faiths do not fit into the fixed , narrow supremacist and rigid belief systems of the western world labelled as ' Religion'. Others were forced into these labels, Comparing abrahamic faiths and eastern faiths is like comparing oranges and apples. Beyond the believe in god , their similarities are negligible.

@@VeganSanatani he never said about it being a hindu text!
But the very nature of Hinduism is not limited to religion,
At least half or even 3/4 Rd of it is pure philosophy!
So , I think he is right the nature of Vedas is not limited to religion!

It can be but not entirely true. Some of its knowledge is time bound and will fade away . That's the reason Buddhism ,jainism ,Carvaka and Sikkhism came into existence.
The Book named Astavakra Geeta . Says for liberation if your traditions are coming in the way you'll have to leave them. This time bound nature is the very nature of that.

Thank you for presenting this useful information that our humanity has kept hidden.
So vast the knowledge that goes beyond any learning we have ever known.
Everything else that's come after has been plagerised from the vedas.
It's so complex, as is the creation all around us. Studying the vedas is the key to our origins and way of life, as it finally reveals how we find God within us.

about the caste thing, it's not what it seems...
Four parts of Varna are -
    .Brahmins (priests, teachers, intellectuals),
    .Kshatriyas (warriors, kings, administrators),
.Vaishyas (agriculturalists, traders, farmers ) and
    .Shudras (workers, laborers, artisans).
And the subdivisions in these Varnas are what people generally people know as castes which formed by communities/clans of dedicated professions/occupations, that's how we get around 3000 castes and 25000 sub-castes.
So, Originally It was not some kind of Tag that was given by birth but by their work,
It was a societal structure of ancient times.
The oppression/discrimination people talk about is also the reality but it's not by some commandment but because of the corruption in the society, which everyone understands and acknowledges.

Therefore there have been people throughout history/ancient history who changed their varna.

The people that gave authorship to scriptures were from many backgrounds of socioeconomic status. The original varna system that later was corrupted to be caste is not the same as what one sees as a hierarchical socioeconomic system today. India is unique in that it was allowed to develop uninterrupted from time immemorial but inasions and occupation destroyed much, despite Indians being great at keeping records. Despite many invasions and occupiers, the culture has survived due to Indian resourcefulness and courage. 🙏🏽

The aryan invasion theory is a myth or a story that was created but it isn't true. Since that theory suggests that Aryans invaded india and gave us vedas and what we call Hinduism today, but if that is the case where did they come from and how are they no evidence of a society built upon those values outside of India, how did they just appear and give us how to build temples knowledge when there isn't any temple outside of India. Also there isn't any dna evidence as well about the Aryans having a DNA strands with current indians, if we belive Aryan invasion theory we shall keep in mind that they came to into india around 1800-1500BCE and the Vedas were dated back to around 6000 years old so even that timeline doesn't add-up. So the only theory that Aryan invasion stands on is that the difference of language Sanskrit and Tamil since they are the oldest language to be known to us, but if that is to be taken into account then why were there Sanskrit speakers even in south India and not prominent Tamil speaker, till today there are words of Sanskrit in many south india languages a place in Karnataka still speaks Sanskrit as there primary language. Last point is still to be researched more by me for further strong claims that Aryans invasion theory is a myth.

You bet? Clearly you are unaware of the history of last 1000 years of what happened in India, and how Vedas are still alive. We Hindus are the one to articulate Vedas after understanding it. Have you yourself tried to understand Vedas and how they are supposed to be studied? There are MANY individuals who study AND understand Vedas, including me.
Not studying Vedas is not equivalent to not understanding them. And thanks to Islamic and British invaders, our far more advanced educational system was destroyed and degraded the intellect of the following generations.

Just don't jump the gun, what I meant is the vedas takes ages to learn and you need to learn under a proper guru and maybe a highly realised yogi to come to the essence of it.
