The level of sarcasm is amazing of you guys. The sad thing is that you don't get monetized enough because of that. I used to live in Norway for 4 years (2012-2016, Hedmark county) and things have changed since then as I see. Glad I had a chance back then to park with a diesel Citroen Berlingo around the main "part" of Oslo. Love you guys and sorry for you guys at the same time!
I live in Southern California. It's become terrifying driving here. I quit my job and moved out of Los Angeles because people drive like they are insane and violent! They ignore traffic signals and go on red lights. They will honk their horns and just drive into busy traffic without a care if they crash. They purposefully try to run you off the road. I would see accidents almost daily, cars, people laying on the road after being knocked off their motorcycles, it was horrible. And we have high-speed police pursuits almost daily, sometimes twice daily. Now the crazy drivers are spreading out to the cities outside of LA. I'm ready to leave the state and possibly the country soon. It wasn't like this 10-15 years ago.
It was interesting to know that you have same rules for drunk driving cars and electric scooters. Here in Finland it's still legal to ride drunk on electric scooters that can run max 25km/h, but there's debate going on if it will be criminalized. By the way, I was in Norway last week again! The previous weekend I drove through Finland to Kilpisjärvi, where I remembered you, Ronald, because I still remember you're from Kåfjord. From Kilpisjärvi I drove to Tromsø, then Senja, Andøya and later by E6 to Mo i Rana. On saturday I drove E12 to Umeå Sweden and on sunday I sailed back to Finland by a ferry.

When I rented a car in Norway this summer, I was warned that what was the most challenging for Americans is 1. Going the speed limit and not getting an automatic ticket (like, it's impossible to know if you are under surveillance), and 2. Understanding who has the right of way. And I agree! Right of way was a huge challenge. Especially with all the circles! I had to spend some time studying street signs since they are very different.
I have rented cars in Norway, New Zealand, mainland Europe and California. California is by far the scariest place. It was very peaceful driving in Norway and New Zealand (mostly). Of course, most of my miles were far from any cities.

In Belgium you can be fined as a pedestrian or cyclist when you are drunk. It's called 'openbare dronkenschap' (public drunkeness) and it is punishable. As a matter of fact, you can even lose your drivers' license when you're cycling in a drunken state. And yes, the tram is also the king/queen of the road: he/she has always priority.
