@@bantaburyExcept they don't. Have you seen the proportions on those? Joytoy still doesn't understand how to make a correctly sized head, let alone the rest of the figure.
At this point it is close to impossible that Mcfarlane would produce the Primarchs. This figure is already considered their Mega Figure and the primarchs are so much taller.
I was so happy when he continued this line. This one i was looking forward to the most. But loose floopy hollow cheap terminator was not what i was expecting. It will be 20$ soon I'm sure. I might pick it up then. Idk.
If you want to get a joy toy this size it'd cost you $500...the McFarland toys just need an ink wash most times but home made repaints and customs are why these exist
This one was the disappointment of the year for me. It’s hard to believe the Space Marine Intercessor from the Macfarlane first wave were more sturdy, heavier, and they only cost $20 when this one cost $50. Macfarlane has lost the war with Joytoy.
It's sad how bad this figure is! I wanted to buy it but after watching your review i just gave up. It just isn't worth 70 euros in my country. I watched a couple reviews and they all said the same thing, it feels hollow, cheaply made and paint sucks as expected. Such a disappointing line at this point.😢
It's hollow because you can't make a figure of this size out of regular plastic without it weighing like a literal brick. Do you people actually collect action figures?
@@alexissandoval1284 let me remind you of dc collectibles arkham city Solomon Grundy or Clayface it's twice the size than this crap! So yeah i do collect action figures and not this crap.😉
These figures must be considered like a empty canvas, ideal for repaint and customization. I would not pay more than 20 bucks for it. Sad, Macfarlane made fantastic figures in the past, like the Halo 3 lineup, conan, military series, dragons, faces of madness, etc. Nice review as always brother Sprues! Cant wait for an Horus Heresy astartes figure review😅😅

Yeah I'm totally going to take a toy reviewer that is critical of 90% of his figures seriously. The torso can literally be fixed with 5 cents worth of plumbers tape. The articulation is exactly as it should be.
I don't understand why yer coping so hard for this crap in all these comments, genuine delusion?? Does your dad own McFarlane toys or something? I shouldn't have to buy plumbers tape to fix a flimsy figure, I bought the Big Mek and his arms barely stay up, joytoy figures have served me much better
@@lunardeathblade2570 same, their old stuffs were so amazing. Ngl, the initial "true action figures" they made got good sculpting and paintjob as well, particularly the fortnite line. Shame how the quality has gone down.
@alexissandoval1284 If practically nobody uses the 1/18th scale, then why does Joytoy have like 5x the number of Warhammer models/molds compared to what McFarlane has on offer? And, they continue to make announcements on new figures almost every week. And if you mean just 1/18 scale figures in general, then that's also not quite true. There are plenty of figures still made in that scale. And lots of old toys were made in that scale. Many old Star Wars figures, G.I. Joe figures. Even the old Halo 3 figures from McFarlane were in the 1/18th scale, or close to it. Nowadays, Joytoy and Hiya are really the main two I see in that size range.
In my opinion, this is the worst figure in the series. Loose articulation, cheap plastic and hollow torso and hands. And they charge for it 50 bucks, (all 90 in my country)! This. Sucks. Got mine two days ago and was dissapointed beyond measure. It feels cheap, it looks cheap and cost way more than it should. Yes, there is a lot of good sculpted scratches and battledamage, and proportions is great imo, but overall this is a failure in my eyes. Already repainting it. At least drybrush and matte finish make his look somewhat bearable. Shame. I reaaly want to like this figure. Great review! There is no wrong for being honest.
OMG. This makes a perfect repaint for Tyberos.
how are you going to make his lightening claws?
The upcoming Ultramarines terminators from JT blow this guy out of the water. Thanks for the review!
The old JT ones do too.

Yes, i would love to see those from Mcfarlane.
Bro! You didn’t do a size comparison with any McFarlane 40k figures 🤦🏽♂️
this figure would make another cool repaint video < 3
This figures faults are a big shame but I still think it looks great on my shelf and I’m holding out hope they’ll make a chaos variant
Looks to be made of a harder more hollow plastic as compared to the softer thicker plastic of other McFarlane figures
I'm going to get this and I'm going to repaint this using bone white.
With the torso articulation, you just apply some kiki to tighten the joints and it feels amazing, in my opinion it’s worth it

Ngl, this figure feels like it's a Chinese knockoff off a JT's terminator. Very ironic, since JT is a Chinese company...

The only redeeming factor for this figure is to make a custom out of it. Aside from that its not worth the retail price.

Mine feels very cheap in the waist and extremely loose not worth 50 maybe 20
I only collect Joytoy. I think MCFARLANE is for ppl interested in customise/repaint. Not my case.
