I think the main thing is to learn to LISTEN and FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS and if they can prepare months in advance with exercises and downloading their app as a guide, it will be much better, at least that's what I did. I said maybe she should shave before and during BMT because the social norms are girls shave those areas and she is concerned that someone will point that out or make fun of her. So to shave or not to shave? What do you think? She can go back to what she prefers after BMT if she wants.

Ive been to boot camp myself and please just let your daughter know that you will barely have enough time to wash your face and hair everyday let alone shave. What I did is shave the day right before I shipped out (makes things easier hygiene-wise/personal preference) You get maybe 5 minutes to shower every day, no one is worried about judging you...

When you arrive, they check your package, right? And if I carry a wallet with basic makeup things, do they take it off or can I take it to the room? Or they tell you what things or don’t you have to leave and take you to the room?
You take it to the room. They don’t ever go through your things but they do make you dump it on your bed. You can keep at the make up stuff but it will be locked up in the laundry room . They will let you access it as needed tho. But it’s always in the same building. You can keep certain stuff but everything has to be put a certain way so just make sure it’s not a hassle for you.

I’m pretty sure you just need a high school diploma & if you’re underage , a parent. - also yes , you can bring those thing but you can also buy them when you get there. - don’t worry about the body hair , no one cares but if you do feel like it will be an issue , just wax/shave.

In BMT it is super easy to make friends because you are with those people all day everyday. Also , you can only get bullied if you allow it. And bully is not tolerated so don’t be afraid to say something . You are only with these people for 7 1/2 weeks
It all depends on what you get on the test. Then your recruiter will give you a list of what you qualify for then you give them like top three and they will try to get you your number one
