The other version of the Partita (or Partie) in German is a 'conversion' into an orchestral Suite for 2 Oboes, Bassoon, Strings and Basso Continuo. He added an Ouverture to the existing sets of Arias of which this work is made up. I am not aware if Telemann carried out such a conversion on the other Partitas, 6 in total number in this genre. I suggest not, as he was always very busy, if his total output is anything to bear witness to.
