i wasnt able to find a good vide about this but what you neeed to do is to download odin and twrp 1= power off your device then boot it into the download mode and connect it with you oc 2= select ap in odin and choose your twrp.tar file 3= untick autoreboot in odin 4= press start 5= you are done :)

I have been thinking for a long time now because it is a Custom Recovery device, I have installed Rom successfully, can I just open the settings and open the normal format if I type in the Reset Backup section? My main use will be as Mapping with offline with GPS connecting to downloaded maps such as Navmii or Maps.me. Also unrelated, No USB on my Note. Any workaround. Well, I'm typing this on my 2012 Galaxy Note 10.1, with the newly flashed 6.0. And wow. What an improvement. This is the best it's ran in years. I will say, 6.0 seems to be the most optimal for this tablet. 7.1 seemed to be too optimistic. I tried to flash 7.1, and it simply wouldn't boot. I let it sit for 20 mins, and nothing happened. So 6.0 it is. Still leagues better than 4.4.2. Thanks for the guide!
@@lukeryder92 I honestly can't remember. It's been awhile since I did the flash, and I've since replaced the ol' Galaxy Note 10.1 with a Galaxy Tab S6. It started experiencing problems that went far beyond what a Software flash could fix.

Hi! Something went wrong and now my n8000 stucks on the boot animation. The problem is I cannot switch it off in order to access the bootup mode. If I long press the power button it simply restarts, and the same happens if I press power+volume up (tried also with power + volume down and it always restarts). Do you have any idea? +Federico Carbonetti you need to press the vol down and power button until the screen turns off. Then you need to press to recovery key combination directly after that. You need to be fast :)

Berk - Thank you for this fantastic work. If I install only your Rom on my n8013 then MM comes up fine, but without the Gapps of course, and I get the full MM set up menu I can then walk through. If I also install the nano or pico version of the correct OpenGapps exactly as per your video however, I get an issue with the set up wizard crashing and the n8013 getting into an eternal error loop "Unfortunately, setup wizard has stopped.". There must be something different between the version of Gapps used in this video from Dec 2015 and the ones currently available from Mar 2016. Do you have any idea why this is happening? Is there a workaround? Thank you.
+Jeff Livingstone after flasing the entire rom you can flash the pico GApps. But it wont change anything fi u falsh another Gapps over the other. so first do a wipe than flash the rom than the GApps i prefer nano, ane after that a wipe again than u shouldnt have any issues :)

Jeff Livingstone what i would do is to delete the setupwizzard.apk from the GApps zip packge. than u would have no setupwizzard and no issues :D but for that u need to install the entire rom again ...
+Berk Burada deleting the setuptabletwizzard apk out of the zipped archive worked... It allowed me to install the playstore and then manually download various components. I am up and running so far without issue. Thank you for your helpful suggestion.
I'm a first time noob at device rooting so I probably did everything wrong, and maybe twice... But I found my GT-N8013 in a box and using your tutorial was able to get Android 6 to operate the device but the gapps install errored in TWRP for "insufficient storage space available in system partition". Is there a smaller Open gapps package, with everything needed to use the play store app so my GT-N8013 can be authenticated and download play store apps? I hope this tutorial wasn't just a novel way to re-create a newer version (6.0) of an unusable device I couldn't use before because version 4.1.2 wouldn't run OneNote...

Noice worked. Btw I chose marshmallow because nougat has some very big bugs. Like wifi getting randomly disabled after some time.

Carla jc funciona tudo perfeito. E sim, é o N8000. Não precisa ter medo, melhor ROM pra nosso Note 10.1 é o Nougat.

Berk - Thank you for this fantastic work. If I install only your Rom on my n8013 then MM comes up fine, but without the Gapps of course, and I get the full MM set up menu I can then walk through. If I also install the nano or pico version of the correct OpenGapps exactly as per your video however, I get an issue with the set up wizard crashing and the n8013 getting into an eternal error loop "Unfortunately, setup wizard has stopped.". There must be something different between the version of Gapps used in this video from Dec 2015 and the ones currently available from Mar 2016. Do you have any idea why this is happening? Is there a workaround? Thank you.
+Jeff Livingstone after flasing the entire rom you can flash the pico GApps. But it wont change anything fi u falsh another Gapps over the other. so first do a wipe than flash the rom than the GApps i prefer nano, ane after that a wipe again than u shouldnt have any issues :)
+Berk Burada Yes that's what I'm doing, but am getting the error described in the original comment. There seems to be an incompatibility between this more recent version of Gaps and the ROM.

what i would do is to delete the setupwizzard.apk from the GApps zip packge. than u would have no setupwizzard and no issues :D but for that u need to install the entire rom again ...
+Berk Burada deleting the setuptabletwizzard apk out of the zipped archive worked... It allowed me to install the playstore and then manually download various components. I am up and running so far without issue. Thank you for your helpful suggestion.

I'm a first time noob at device rooting so I probably did everything wrong, and maybe twice... But I found my GT-N8013 in a box and using your tutorial was able to get Android 6 to operate the device but the gapps install errored in TWRP for "insufficient storage space available in system partition". Is there a smaller Open gapps package, with everything needed to use the play store app so my GT-N8013 can be authenticated and download play store apps? I hope this tutorial wasn't just a novel way to re-create a newer version (6.0) of an unusable device I couldn't use before because version 4.1.2 wouldn't run OneNote...
