Some parts of the show are pre-recorded. This is mainly done for laser shows and such. That's why at the start of some sets you can see the mixers are all the way down since the first song is still synced with the laser show that was pre-defined for that song. After that, the light jockeys normally take over and the DJs have to DJ. Be pretty shit if Qlimax ended up ridiculed with pretentious DJs doing fuck all and still make money off it
