Very pleased to see that people are running this. Feels like it's never mentioned. Why did you briefly start every level at the end? Is that something that's required to submit the time?
I don’t understand what happen with the first mission. I’ve played this game a lot during childhood, but does playing the first mission just once, even if it’s a mission failure, unlock the second mission?
Stunning the civilian prevents the rest of the mission's objectives from activating. Even though this triggers a mission failure, it doesn't actually fail any of the objectives, so when you exit the level, the game checks that all active objectives are complete and thinks you've beaten the mission.
@@Rschr101 looking back I liked the way it turned out Perfect Dark is a fantastic game and Rare truly delivered an incredible original creation on their own (same can't be said for PDZ)
I use control style 3, which uses the C buttons to move. This lets me look around with the control stick while I'm moving, which you can't do in the default control style (or any style that uses the stick to move).
You can tell this game is outdated. All the Russian equipment is portrayed as being clean, well-maintained, and working and Russian soldiers/henchmen are shown to be loyal and brave. Oh how reality ruins things.
Best fucking game
an N64 Game with loading screens ? D:
This game was better than Goldeneye, I don't know why it's almost forgotten.
Played this game so much as a kid

It's not required, but I wanted to show individual mission times and there's not really a better/faster way to do it.

This is an interesting watch on why beforehand that nobody did a speedrun of this game
The only department this game is weaker than GoldenEye64 in is the OST. But no one remembers it.
No blood either
Awesome!

Mavalock Thank you!
I play this game before
in some aspects this game was better than GE..
Some but not enough. Goldeneye is the standard bearer. Perfect Dark was great too. Shame Rare didnt stick with Bond.

Oh god, how do you move so seemlessly?
Meltdown has always been a clunky mess for me but you maneuver it as if you have 2 sticks.
