This was a great special guys. You have to remember, this is for kids. Let's not look at it through our eyes, but the little kids. They don't notice all the things in the show like we do. We don't want it so scary the kids are up all night. They couldn't play the entire songs or all of his songs in a 1 hour special. The animation isn't any different than the characters in "Despicable Me" or Minions. CBS budgeted the film, not the Estate. I think it will become a classic.

This was kinda stupid. They didn't even bother to make the character's mouth move with the song, and the only speaking line was when he faded away. You'd think with all the recordings and such the Estate has, they'd have found some suitable speaking clips to use in the film.
