I need prayer from you all. Living alone over 950 days in Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. The landlord has not fixed the water here due to no housing code. Can not drink the water causes liver damage. So tired and frustrated. Other tenants are sick but I am not allowed to talk to them. 67 yr old single lady with pets. Praying for this country to get righted back to His in the next months. I started watching Chad there and then started watching you and K&S. Love you all. God bless. ❤
Prayin for y'all 🙏🙏🙏❤️

Prayers for you 🙏♥️🙏 Leann 🙏♥️🙏
Praying for you Elizabeth ❤Father send help to our sister
Praying hon. I’m so sorry your going through all this. Keep the faith and I’ll say a prayer for help to come.
Decades ago I had a Great Pyrenees, Max. He, as most dogs are, was deathly afraid of loud noises such as thunder or fireworks. My husband and I had gone away for the 4th of July weekend one year and hired a neighbor boy to feed/water Max, but we totally forgot to mention Max being afraid of fireworks. When we returned, Max was nowhere to be found; the boy told us he had come to check on Max after the neighborhood fireworks but Max was gone. On Monday morning we got a call from the vet's office saying they found Max on their back doorstep ❤. How he remembered to get there was beyond us but it was a place he knew people cared about him.
❤❤❤
Owls take the heads of chicken snakes too
Grandpa you need your Son when you have to take them any where
@@gammyofthree but she was inside the cages, overhead attack not possible.
Wow, that was amazing
Oh Ralph, I am so sorry about Blondie. The instant you said you lost a chicken my heart sank. You're right. They're not just chicken's. They each have their own personalities and I love them all. My heart was in my throat the whole time you were chasing Revel and Rylie. I was worried about you. Still have the whole Doss Family in my prayers. 🙏❤️
Ralph, someone suggested a doggie ramp. They work great…not too expensive and the dogs can walk right up into the car and don’t have to be picked up. You can even entice them by putting a treat at the top of the ramp. Ramp folds up. It’s a good investment if you have a large dog. Less stress on you.
Great idea
I was watching when you let go of the gate. I knew they were going to fly. I didn't know they would go after the chick's. I wondered if you had a ramp! You shouldn't lift those dogs. They are heavy! God will take care of you, even when you get in the way.
I agree.
I agree.😊
Seeing all that has been happening to you and Leann lately and from my own experience, I see spiritual warfare. You have been leading people to Jesus, I'm sure of that, and you both are living by example. You give your testimony to thousands of people who've watched your channel. You inspire people as well. You, as Christians, know that when you do those things, you get attacked by evil. I've seen it and experienced it. Hang in there. Your faith is strong, I'm praying for you all, and you lead by example. Sorry about Blondie.
Prayers for my niece’s family. She passed away yesterday morning after a long battle with early onset Alzheimer’s . Her memorial service is on Saturday morning. We believe that she is at peace with our Lord. Prayers continue for you both on your health journeys.
Sorry for your loss. Sending prayers.

I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your niece!🙏
I'm sorry Ralph, I giggled too. Once I knew everyone was ok, I couldn't stop the giggles. I'm glad everyone is ok. I know in the moment it was horribly scary, but afterward it makes for an exciting story.
The dogs getting out is exactly why the dogs need to know the LEAVE IT! command. You did good Grandpa. I hope you are ok and glad all the chickens survived.
Knowing "leave it" & actually leaving it doesn`t always work no matter how well trained they are.
@@mel924 you have a much better chance to stop the chase when they know the command. I have 3 LGDs and when I raise my voice and demand leave it they have listened so far. Now the 2 escape artists being told to stay is a different story when they feel the neighbors need a perimeter check. Leave it has always been stressed from day 1 of having them more than any other command.
Also, the recall command would have helped a lot.
@@joanhenson4567 Congratulations!
Sorry Grandpa it wasn’t funny, but it was…I have to say a 60 something year old man can fall and get up pretty darn quick….
Two of the most needed commands that dogs must learn & obey: “leave it” & “come.” Thank God you didn’t get hurt.
Teaching with a whistle is helpful because the sound breaks the dogs drive thoughts...and gets their attention...❤
please please be careful you scared the bejesus out of me and had me worried especially when you fell
Ralph… we’ve been reminding you that those dogs need some training! 5 minutes a day, couple times a day, spent teaching them: come, no, leave it and give - to name a few commands, would help tremendously. Said the retired pro dog trainer.
@ sierragal we are just seeing the payoff of the work we are doing with 2 small mixed breed (m/f ? Poodle, doodle, wired haired something’s) we adopted together from the city shelter 10/22. I’m sure she was a breeder, teets were still swollen, not sure if he was one of her pups, when adopted estimated ages f -3, m -2. Thankfully shelter did the spay/neuter, shots & microchips, had to sedate him as he was totally matted ( has to have doodle mix with the coat he gets.) I can totally clip him now, without sedation and he is great, she has wispy thin hair and just needs occasional trim. She’s very nervous without him around, but, especially recently, we are seeing a huge difference in their behavior. The commands, sit, stay, lay down are being quickly responded to, we have an enclosed dog yard we put them out in, but until recently they went out on a cable in the yard, now they can go out without it & are at the door to come in, sit and wait when I put them out. They are getting better going to the barn and seeing the pony, without the barking they were doing. I think Ralph and LeaAnn can get their dogs settled, but it does take time and patience each day. Prior to them we have had multiple seniors we had adopted who had passed, we were blessed to have them for their final years and I think they enjoyed the farm life while here. Different ball game with young dogs, especially ours with really no history of where they came from, but so blessed to have been given the opportunity to bring them into our home. I do hope that once both LeaAnn and Ralph recover from their surgeries they can start a scheduled daily training time, it will make things so much easier for not just them but the dogs as well. Neither LeaAnn or Ralph should do leash work for awhile, their dogs would put too much strain on the muscles and surgical incisions. (Retired nurse & many surgeries have taught me.) I know they will do the best they can and get over this hump they are experiencing. God bless!!
LGDs can and do work with and protect poultry. It takes consistent training so they understand what you need them to do. You can do this.
Those dogs need proper training ......the incident could have easily KILLED YOU ! They are big strong dogs which need discipline!
@@margelittleboy first - thank you for adopting your littles. Second - thank you for sharing your experience. I love when communication between dogs and owners begin to develop with simple training. It makes the world a bigger and better place for them when they understand what is required of them. Training benefits more than just the dog.
❤️❤️❤️❤️🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
It is real life not a tv show. Great example of a loving family.
Ralph, what a packed full video. I was a nervous wreck. Blondi, the dogs, and you. wow!!!! my prayers are with you and LeaAnn. May God keep you in his embrace. love you folks.
I haven't finished watching the video, yet. But I wanted to tell you a couple of things.
1. There is really no way for you to know if a rat has dug a hole to somewhere under the chicken coop. Something else could have traveled under the tunnel.
2. Isn't there a gap, albeit a small one, under the backside of the poultry palace?
3. Raccoons and opossum will climb on and around on fencing.
4. Rats and mice will eat on carcasses and they are nocturnal
5. Chicken will peck to death a sick bird, but it is pecking to death, they don't usually remove the head of a fallen bird.
6. If the baby opossum removed Blondie's head by perhaps trying to pull her through the fence she may have running to the coop in the dying process
Things to consider.
As one who made a living taking care of animals, I can completely relate. I have had horses escape. I have had dogs escape. I have entered homes where the dog was small but instantly knew something was really off, and found a person hiding in a closet. Whatever situation i have found myself, I have always trusted GOD would help me. Trying to catch 2 Pyrenees that wanted to play "chase the chicken", and doing so successfully without anyone getting seriously injured is a sign of greatness.
Ralph so sorry about Blondie. 😥😥 Watching you chase the dogs scared me a bit, but you are in good shape! Prayers for you and your family. God Bless
Grandpa, you can add hardware cloth to the bottom portion of grandpa's poultry palace as an added measure of protection.
Yes Bury 3ft of hard mesh all the way around
Hope I can remember who gets what feed in which bowl 😬
We're ALL praying for you, Chad. We know you'll do well. 🙏❤️🙏
Said every mother, that ever had to load children into a carseat!
yeah but when we were doing that they didn't weigh over a hundred lbs each.
Sorry for the loss of Blondie. Glad that you were able to get the dogs back in without any chickens being harmed. The coverage of you chasing the pups was scary and hilarious. It's good that you don't have to take them to the vet that often. You are a strong person to have been able to get them in the vehicle. Hope everything went good with your Dr visit. Prayers for both of you and the others. GOD bless y'all
I have been living with NO A/C since Tues 118. Cooled down too 116. But hoping tomorrow it will get fixed!! Has not been fun. Grandpa, always praying for yall. Good luck with your upcoming surgery. So sorry she passed. May she RIP I still miss sis😢😢

So very sorry about the loss of Blondie. Sorry also that the dogs escaped and caused you to have to chase and corral them. I was really frightened when you were falling. At our age, falling is not a good thing to do. Praying daily for both of you and the entire Doss family.
You are right, you never know what. Is going to happen with animals.
I agree with Leann, the boys will do just fine. It may not be exactly how you do it but all the animals will be fed and loved.
So many prayers going up for the entire Doss Clan!
Omg. Ralph. Please don't do that again, I cried. I was so afraid for you. You need one of the boys to help with getting the dogs in and out of the car. Good luck with everything you are going through, and well done, Leanna, for doing so good after your treatment . You're looking fantastic . God bless you both. I'm still praying for you and all the family. ❤💙

Oh my gosh, Grandpa , that scared me just watching you!! I couldn't even breath and when you fell a couple times I screamed everytime. Don do that again please. Live yall so much. As always Grandma looks so pretty❤❤❤
Grandpa Doss, I confess I watched the video several times and got a healthy laugh. If you can laugh at yourself, you are a secure person. Our family loves your transparency and you make us feel like one big family. Blessings and prayers ❣️
Great episode! Glad you are ok Ralph and so sorry that you lost Blondie. You did the best you could! We love all of you and I will keep you in my prayers!!! 🙏🏻💙🙏🏻
Holy cow, Ralph, you can sure run fast! Those 2 dogs took advantage of the opportunity to escape. I'm surprised they didn't stay with you while you were fixing the camera. They have to go in time out now!
Thoughts and Prayers 🙏🙏 for Ralph and LeAnn . Thanks for the laughs when Ralph was chasing the dogs. Great news dogs are healthy.

Thank goodness they didn't get any chickens. They were a handful for you, for sure. Glad everything turned out OK. 🙏🙏👍👍💕💕
I am so very sorry about losing a chicken. I dislike having to get our dog and cat ready to leave to go to the vet. Before our pets it was going to the pediatrician's office with our daughter was a nightmare. I would have to wake up 2 hours earlier to get myself ready, then wake up my daughter, feed her, and get her ready to leave, it was always an ordeal. Then had to go without my husband because of his work.
Your morning looked like my mornings years ago. We can plan and plan, then kids and critters have a mind of their own that can change our plans. Praying for you both and I hope and pray that grandpa is not in too much pain from the the ordeal. Praying for you both, you are such a blessing to me. God bless you and your entire family!
Glad you didn't get hurt, but I am sorry Grandpa, I did laugh... 😂😂
Saying my prayers for Grandpa, Grandma, and all the viewers and their families.
I'm so happy the chickens are safe, but boy, what grandpa had to go through. ❤
Glad Ralph was ok.
Thank you for sharing and caring for all of us. My sweet Abby (Pyrenees) passed away Monday. She was a rescue I was able to get after suffering 2 strokes. She was the most loving and encouraging pup and stayed by my side for 12 years. I will miss her terribly. She would RUN like a crazy pup every chance she got. Love watching R& R, they remind me of all the mischief she used to get into. I could tell you some stories!🙏🙏❤️
I am so sorry for your loss.
Please accept my condolences. I know how it hurts. I've been there. I pray you be comforted & find another companion to keep you company. ❤🙏 Blessings.
@@jeanettelong-i6j thank you
Prayers as you cope with the grief, and the loneliness of her not being htere for all the little things you used to do together
God bless you both. Be well, Grandpa. You made me really worry chasing the pups. Get well soon. Love you guys!❤️
Okay Grandpa you are the GOAT! That was a remarkable job you did getting the dogs and chickens back in order, just awesome. 🔥🔥🔥
I'm so sorry for the loss of Blondie . She will be missed by all.
You are all definitely in our prayers 🙏
Watching The Great Escape. I could see the pups noticing the open gate & deciding together to take off! 😂😂😂😂
I weigh 83 lbs and have a 100lbs golden and a 150lb bullmastiff. I have worked with them and they listen to the tone of my voice. Drop it, leave it, sit, stay and down are some of the most important things for them to learn. Until they are no longer pups and calm down it seems like they will never get it
Don’t forget …..Thankful you didn’t get hurt when you fell & fell & fell!!!

Poor Grampa❤️ok sooo chill out for the next few weeks ok
Ohhhh are those boys gonna come for you when they see this 😮😂😂😂😂❤
Ralph, I do believe you need a doggy ramp for those two.
Even a quad ramp or even a ramp like Kyle has for the goats.
Grandma said she was looking for the ramp.
Well Ralph that was quite the spectacle 😮, thank goodness your angel 👼 was working overtime and was protecting you. All our prayers for your surgery are hopefully protecting you now as well 🙏🙏
Love and blessings for both of you and your amazing family 💕💕💕🙏🙏🙏🕊🕊😇
Oh Ralph! You sure had your work out chasing the dogs! Glad you are ok and got them back safely and no chickens were harmed. I will be praying for you during your surgery and for a quick recovery!
So sorry for the loss of Blondie, it's sad to lose your pets. I have 20 chickens myself and generally would count them each evening when I went out to close the gate on their run. I'd worry if it was cold or if there was one that didn't come in at night. I'm glad the dogs didn't get any of them but was more concerned about you running around and falling trying to get them back in somewhere. It good you are in a good of shape as you are. Love you all. Please remember me in your prayers. My husband of 40 years passed away Sunday the 7th. This has been a stressful week. Blessings to all of you, praying your surgery goes well with quick recovery. ❤❤❤

I hate to admit that I laughed at the video of the dogs; but Leeann's captions were spot on! Praying for you and Leeann from Tuscaloosa, AL. We have two great pyrenees and I have hit the ground 3 times this year alone! Great Pyrenees vs armadillos. I wasn't hurt, just shocked, phone died, flashlight died, shoes were off my feet and all I could do was lay on the ground. I think I threw my shoes at my husband when I got in the house!

More dog training is definitely needed. Also dog ramps for loading in car. I hope you're okay after taking a few tumbles!! Those poor chickens are freaking out!

I lost a best friend a week ago Sunday to a heart attack. I thank God he had it life right with God. I know I'll see him again.
Ralph, I was so concerned about you and the stress you were going through that I couldn't laugh until I knew everything was ok.. Prayers for your procedure and continued prayers until the surgery is done. Love y'all ❤❤❤
Heart attacks can be so shockingly immediate - well done on finding the positives, and prayers as you learn to live without your friend, loss definitely comes at a cost to each of us, be gentle with yourself
I'm praying for you both, I have faith everything will be fine.🙏🙏🙏
I see someone already mentioned this but I would definitely get a ramp for those two big babies! Amazon has all kinds of that stuff. We had stairs for our Maltese to get up on our bed. Hi Grandpa and Grandma. So very sorry you lost Blondie. You were making great progress getting her better and she knew it. Grandpa! I cannot believe what I just saw on the video. Please don't do that again. I do have to admit it gave me a bit of a chuckle and thankfully no chickens were hurt in the making of the video. 😀 It amazes me how agile you are. Your guardian angel was definately looking out for you. A ramp would be good for the pups gettin in and out of the van. Praying for all those who need it. Also for the son and family of our fellow sister Doss family member who went on. 🙏❤️
