Glad you enjoyed the video! Yes, to your point stacked bar charts (and areas!) have their limitations. That said, with the right data, audience, and scenario, they can work beautifully. Check out some of our favorite stacked creations: www.storytellingwithdata.com/blog/2017/10/30/a-story-about-opportunity and www.storytellingwithdata.com/blog/2021/11/17/a-combo-chart-makeover
transforming these charts is very beautiful but where it that build on? our comun stuff ain't capable of doing that just by changing definitions?? Power BI, Tableu? Excel? Power Point? where do you build this
Thanks for watching! The charts in this video were created in PowerPoint. Many of the formatting changes are not default settings, so it does take time to customize the design of the graph. If you'd like to learn more about how we use Excel and PowerPoint, check out our tutorial playlists: th-cam.com/play/PLwEff2aXpeWuz9fJrQLxmr5pnyoaESIka.html
Nice chart but the text is a bit of a mess. Two headings with the same message. a subheading, a graph title, and the ugly commentary on the right and that's where they eyes go before being confused with all the other stuff going on. Also + means growth, and - means decline so a lot of that text is redundant and doesn't need to be bolded to be impactful. I'd have icons for phopne/tablet/laptop and up down arrows for growth and decline
Clean AF. Awesome works
Transforming bar to line is great here to draw attention of what is going to happen over time . Thank you for sharing !
