Great video, have you found a way to do winlink the same way through a
UV 82HP the aprs cable for aprs droid to an android phone or possibly a raspberry pi. Unfortunately I am on a very low budget for amateur radio.

Hi Brett, thanks for your question.
I generally use Samsung Galaxy tablets and smartphones, but I also very much like the Google Nexus tablets and smartphones as well. These two manufacturers, are going to be 99% compatible with anything you see done on my channel using Tablets or Smartphones.
Regarding what tablets and smartphone not to buy, I would stay away from the Chinese cheap tablets and phones, because very often, they dont follow any standards like the speaker out and microphone input, the Android versions are outdated and cannot be rooted or updated, ... They are often great for reading, but fail for digital comms.
      I hope this helps.

Did you make a video about APRSDroid and amateur satellites? I cannot find it on your channel. Can you please make a video about how to send text messages (sms) to a cell phone from APRSDroid? Thanks.

I'm trying to use offline maps, and although many are saying this is easy, there doesn't appear to be a place to connect the downloaded map and aprsdroid. Do you have suggestions?

I know this may be difficult to answer but any idea how much mobile data APRSDriod would use?

Hi Thanks for the comment and question.
Youre absolutely right, its an impossible question however, I can help with a partial answer.
APRSDroid connections to APRSIS can have filters applied to reduce or remove unwanted or irrelevant traffic from your feed. This will significantly reduce the amount of traffic coming from the server to your Android device. Its also possible to limit incoming data to a specific range like 100km/miles!
Please go to this website and read the section "TCP connections" here
      github.com/ge0rg/aprsdroid/wiki/Settings
The amount of data is based on the filters and radius you choose!
      I hope this helps!
