I agree with Jimmy. I’ve heard and watched every Diana interview and Kristen just captured her so effortlessly. I would forget I wasn’t actually watching Diana, which is the most difficult thing to do when you are portraying an actual person. She definitely deserves her oscar!
The whole reason people loved Lady Di was that she was so natural, a peoples person and relatable. Can you please point at ONE interview where she is stiff, twitches like a moron and barks out words? Please, Dianas shy smile, her natural grace and manner are so far from this wanna be Shekspearean twitch fest portraying her as a stiff mental case. We get it, you like Twilight. This has 0 of Diana in it.

Actors and Actresses will always be judged based on their first performance in their first major film/ lead tv series. So, when they grow up and land new roles they are going to be perceived based on previous roles they played compared to those new roles they land…

For those surprised Kristen has been nominated for an Oscar, know she was the first American Actress to win a Cesar award - the equivalence of an Oscar in France way back in 2014. I feel for the people who can't look at Stewart as an actress beyond Bella Swan (while being total hypocrites and giving Pattinson every benefit of the doubt). She truly gives one of the best performances of this century in "Spencer", something I honestly never thought I would say after "New Moon", and it's one that will be utilized in acting classes in the future.

She's almost unrecognizable. Actually very impressed.
I remember quite a few people scoffing at her casting when it was first announced. Someone I know recommended I see it, and I was blown away. She hit it out of the park. I don't know if she actually ends up winning an Oscar, but for my money, hers was the best performance of the year.

The thing that sold me on Kristen Stewart as an actress was her performance in Charlie's Angels. She shined in every sceen she was in, and really made it worth watching. I absoluelty will check her out in Spencer.
