(If there are any, which there probably are due to no bigfin squid or Giant squid) *the cephalopods that never got to the crystals in the first place.*
It’s so sad with Deep Cut’s dialogue compared to Octo Expansions because they don’t talk about the city being destroyed, they say that we weren’t the only ones to have failed Splatsville, they blame themselves too, despite them having no control over it. Not only that but it sounds like their final words to the place they truly loved.
Well, in the Octo Expansion, Pearl, Mariana, Cuttlefish, Agent 3 and Agent 8 would be the only survivors, even if they defeat Tartar after Inkopolis Square destruction, nothing will change, because the inkling race is gone, and in Splat3 kinda the same situation, but only Octavio, Smallfry and New Agent 3 would be the only survivors, even if they defeat Grizz, nothing will change, so basically it doesn't matter if the survivors try to stop the bad guy because the damage's already done and can't be healed....

I don’t really care about which ending is darker, I feel really bad for the idols who have to watch the world get covered in fuzzy ooze, or watch their kind get blended up because of the agents fail. They can’t do anything about it, so they just have to sit there and watch.

Dude the nostalgia of octo expansion’s end of the world cutscene is insane. I was 9 when I beat it and I couldn’t count the amount of times I saw that cutscene. Finally beating it felt so great. (Side order doesn’t compare in the slightest
octo expansion is more sad in my opinion because of the music Splatoon 3 is like even worse then octo expansion the ending should be removed because little kids could get nightmares.
I think the OE style works surprisingly well. It draws the player more in as the levels aren’t as linear, but are still a bit of a challenge. Although I do agree with that it felt too similar to OE, but they ran with it and made it work.

It’s so sad with Deep Cut’s dialogue compared to Octo Expansions because they don’t talk about the city being destroyed, they say that we weren’t the only ones to have failed Splatsville, they blame themselves too, despite them having no control over it. Not only that but it sounds like their final words to the place they truly loved.

Well, in the Octo Expansion, Pearl, Mariana, Cuttlefish, Agent 3 and Agent 8 would be the only survivors, even if they defeat Tartar after Inkopolis Square destruction, nothing will change, because the inkling race is gone, and in Splat3 kinda the same situation, but only Octavio, Smallfry and New Agent 3 would be the only survivors, even if they defeat Grizz, nothing will change, so basically it doesn't matter if the survivors try to stop the bad guy because the damage's already done and can't be healed....

I don’t really care about which ending is darker, I feel really bad for the idols who have to watch the world get covered in fuzzy ooze, or watch their kind get blended up because of the agents fail. They can’t do anything about it, so they just have to sit there and watch.
Couldn't they do something too? I mean, Pearl could've shoot the laser even if the statue wasn't completely inked. I don't understand what's the problem if you miss one single bomb, but yeah if it's about Splat. 3 then it's right.
The first time I failed in Octo Expansion I just laughed. I don't know why but it was awesome.
i love/hate how in splatoon 3 they make it even worse with Mr. grizz laughing super creepy, and the dying/hurted inklings sounds in the back makes them even worse, i felt super guilty the first time i saw that-
personally, i prefer the octopus expansion ending because the music is more like nostalgic and like "this is the last of inkopolis.." kinda vibe

Dude the nostalgia of octo expansion’s end of the world cutscene is insane. I was 9 when I beat it and I couldn’t count the amount of times I saw that cutscene. Finally beating it felt so great. (Side order doesn’t compare in the slightest

I enjoyed Alterna but it felt too similar to OE in my opinion, I did enjoy the hero mode style stages too, it just felt way too similar to me

I think the OE style works surprisingly well. It draws the player more in as the levels aren’t as linear, but are still a bit of a challenge. Although I do agree with that it felt too similar to OE, but they ran with it and made it work.
@@the_mars_bar Its definitely not a bad style at all, but I think a little bit more could have been done to make them feel a little different, a lot of the look of things made it feel very OE, so maybe if they looked a little different that'd be a bit better.
