Daryl, slowing the trains even more just further enhances the realism of this world class railroad!

Daryl, Nice to let the crew of # 5799 get some overtime this holiday weekend. The auto-rak train, could it be ANPML (?) from North Platte to Mira Loma California? Some of those large concrete blocks at the Global 3 yard have large numbers painted on them to let everyone know where Containers are parked. This holiday weekend with not so many trains moving on the main lines train's are moving at least 10 m.p.h. faster than normal. Something to model, U.P. Intermodal running at speed when an airhose disconnects, the brakes come on and the train makes a fast but steady stop. On your throttle the speed in steps just drops down. i.e. 30,29,28 etc.to 0.Cheers, Chris Perry.

Daryl.. another interesting ops video. Looking forward to the following segments. You mentioned the headlight blinking due to a "short" situation which you corrected easily.. That situation brought to mind a video that Ron Marsh from Ron's Trains N Things did on using an auto bulb #1156 single filament bulb that would light when something was going on in the power district.. using that idea.. could you use a small LED camoed into a bldg porch light or a track side power box ..etc. that would only light when such a situation arose allowing you to run your eye down the layout and see at an instant what block had the situation.. just a thought. Thanks Daryl. Really enjoyable video. In real life are there allocated times for all the movements with a specific departure time? Cheers, Bob

The engine house is a Micro Engineering kit. The sanding tower is akit bashed Bachman kit. Fuel cranes are American models kits.

Is ILTAH still a train in real life?

I really don't know. Tore this layout down in 2020 and am building a new HO layout.
