Car Cards & Waybills vs. Computerized Switchlists - Model Railroaders weigh the pros & cons at 4dPNR

- Have you ever dropped a fist-full of car cards on the floor? Have you ever tried to put a computerized switchlist in train order while switching the train? Model Railroaders from around the Fourth Division of the Pacific Northwest Region (4dPNR.com) of the National Model Railroad Association (https:/NMRA.org) conducted a panel discussion on the pros and cons of various operating schemes to keep track of desired car movements during model train operating sessions. As a bonus, many other interesting subjects and tips related to operations were also discussed. This meeting was recorded on Zoom on June 2, 2022.

I want to say Thank-You for continuing to post your meetings and clinics here on TH-cam! I have been thoroughly enjoying watching them for the past 2 years. Joe Green, I understand having the destination info on the left side of the waybill but how do you know which industry to pick up the car at, other than search for the car's reporting marks at all of the industries in the town?
Could not find RR Ops searching the web?
